oliverdst
I TOLD HIM PLEASE DO NOT BRING ME ANY CIGARS! The fellow that gave the fake cigars wants to be paid for them. Not only that, he insists they are real and his friend got them straight from the factory. He wanted to go on and on about it. My girl friend, his sort of wife, who delivered them, wanted an explanation and that took me almost 15 minutes in person, over and over. You know how long 15 minutes is??? Add to that, an argument that 100 pesos is NOT worth ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY DOLLARS. I think they are really good people. And retard.
earthson
***NEWS UPDATE*** How many times did I say, "Don't get me wrong, it is not that I ungrateful for the gift?" I did not want anyone to think I was some kind of brat that only likes my beautiful Czar cigars and does not appreciate the thought that counts etc. Got the call. Scroats
it's one thing for a kind person to give a gift, even if you said no to. The It's another thing to buy someone something expecting to get paid back without talking about it first. But it's pretty awful to buy something expecting reimbursement when they said not to. The only person I know that travels a lot and brings back stocks for myself and my uncle is my aunt. She's 1 for 2. Got me a real Romeo and a fake Fuente

ChanceSchmerr
Ludicrous. If he thinks they are real, give em back and he can destroy his innards smoking them.
canadianbeaver
It now occurs to me this is where the millions will be when the embargo is lifted. Every flea market, corner store, liquor shop, you name it. "My friend works at a factory. You just need to put the labels on yourself. Our prices beat any retailer anywhere. Guaranteed authentic from Cuba!"
