Dara Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I'd argue for the inclusion of the Royal Robusto, ok it's a LCDH exclusive (luckily rob gets them too) but has been produced regularly for a few years and I've yet to smoke a bad one and so it would get my vote!

ElPuro Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Had anyone picked up any 2015 Sir Winnie? Would prefer to get here, but haven't seen any pop up and none listed on sister site either, unfortunately.
jdo2110 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 A question if I may.... Sir Winnie's have a very creamy, silky, cocoa flavor imo The Mag 50 has, as the Prez describes, an apricot placed in fresh baked bread, hint of citrus flavor. Of the Upmann line, which cigars would you say fall within Side A (Sir Winnie), or Side B (Mag 50)? Because to me, those two taste nothing alike even though they are from the same marca. I haven't had every cigar in the lineup, but so far the Connie 1, Mag 46, PC, and RR stay more the the Sir Winnie side. Is the Mag 50 alone in its flavor profile? Thoughts? Hope this adds to the convo, and doesn't steer it in a different direction. JD
LGC Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Mag 46 (if a good blend) has the most "balls" and flavor.
DoubleDD Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Well it's a tough one. The SW is among my all time favorites but if I have the chance to grab an aged No 2, I will take the No 2 all day. Fresh vs fresh, SW wins.
SCgarman Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 In the marca I have only had 3 vitolas. The petit coronas, #2, and Mag50. Mag50 was terrible. Boring, one dimensional and smoking time too long a duration for myself. #2 and Petit Corona have same basic flavor profile, IMHO. Love the Petit coronas. Plenty of flavor and about an hour of smoking joy. #2 is a fine piramide, but I am just not into larger vitolas. I will smoke the box of 2's sparingly. Have 5 boxes of PC's. I will work on these in the winter months, love them!
Fugu Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Isn't the Connie A regular prodution? That would be my top choice. As listed, I voted for the Mag 46. It always hits the spot for me, one of my favorite Cubans. Sir Winstons can be awesome, though, no doubt, as can the #2s. I also had a great Mag 50 the other day. Overall, I think HU is one of the best marcas, for me anyway. One of the only marcas where I actually like every single vitola. The Conny A is regular production, yes. Often confused with a LCDH-Edition, which it is not. It is a Habanos-Specialist release, not meant to be limited (as like the said 5,000 units per annum for the LCDHs) nor to be discontinued soon again. So, could certainly be included in the poll. Paul
PHXCSC Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 Sir Winnie is indeed the finest of the marca but I voted #2 because it's readily avail (unlike SW's) and its consistently a good smoke even at average quality. At El Prez quality, it's consistently a great smoke.
Lant63 Posted December 5, 2015 Posted December 5, 2015 sir winnies... This, no real competition in my opinion.
