Popular Post Skyfall Posted February 14, 2015 Popular Post Posted February 14, 2015 This isn't going to be much of a competition....Sir Winnie in a landslide 5
Profmd Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I would take; Sir Winston 1st Magnum 50 a close second.
jsummers157 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Too soon for the connie A to replace the sir winston, but every connie a i've had has been fantastic. Definitely between those two for me.
headstand Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 This isn't going to be much of a competition....Sir Winnie in a landslide Agree. Perhaps the question should be, if you exclude the Sir Winie, what would be the best....? 2
AlBaron Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 This isn't going to be much of a competition....Sir Winnie in a landslide I wouldn't be so sure about that ... take a look here: http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=121746
Maplepie Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I wouldn't be so sure about that ... take a look here: "Benchmark cigars" not "best cigars" Mild difference between them...
DWC Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I voted for the 46. I like my Mag 46's better than the one fresh Sir Winnie I smoked but I'm sure that will change with a bit of time. I can taste the potential in the Winnie.
AlBaron Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 "Benchmark cigars" not "best cigars" Mild difference between them... Point well taken...
potpest Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 They are all amazing in their own right...there is no best upmann IMO all very different, all very good.
Jay Hemingway Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Yea I love any Upman but I went with Connie 1's.
Skyfall Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Too soon for the connie A to replace the sir winston, but every connie a i've had has been fantastic. Definitely between those two for me. Connie A is an easy second, but few things are better than a nice aged Sir Winston!!!, 80's. 90's, 00's, 2010 +!
pbibby Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 They are all amazing in their own right...there is no best upmann IMO all very different, all very good.This. Although, I've never had a Connie A...... Haha
coug28 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Easily my favorite marque....with the largest number of different sizes having a place in my humidor than any other brand. In order of preference: Sir Winston, Royal Robusto, Connie A (could move up as have only had a few), No. 2, Mag46, Connie 1, Mag 50. Big, BIG fan of Upmann. 1
Smallclub Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I'm tempted to vote for the half corona; never had a bad one and the best ones offer a surprising depth for a cigar that size… 4
Maplepie Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I'm tempted to vote for the half corona; never had a bad one and the best ones offer a surprising depth for a cigar that size… This is why i voted for the epicures. one of the only cigars that get STRONGER as they age. past the plugged buggers, they're very, very enjoyable smokes at the 2 year mark. Cheap as hell, too. You do intrigue me... What did you vote for, Frank? Did you even vote yet considering the quoted?
Optic101 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Sir Winston is an outstanding cigar for me, followed very close by Mag46 again followed close by Connie 1, HC, PC and Mag50 which are are all great. I'm sure No. 2 is great as well, surprisingly haven't had one yet. 1
cassius Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 I'm a sucker for torpedo, I'll go with No 2
JohnS Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 The Sir Winston is a clear winner so far...but it seems to me, and I certainly am no expert, that the Upmann brand has many fine cigars and it's hard to choose between the others for second.
earthson Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Dabnation! You're going to include the SW in the poll!? You know it's going to win! Beyond the obvious SW, I'm going to go PC because it always amazes me.
