ag794516 Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Today I inspected my humidors and I found only a few cigars with some little holes. Only one in each cigar. One of my Cohiba Siglo VI is at one point at the wrapper green and also at the end. Is this normal? Thanks for help.
earthson Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 I can only see holes in a couple of pictures, but to me, it looks like the holes created by humidifier beads puncturing the wrapper.
cigarbreak Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Should be fine. When I had a beetle scare in the summer I thought every little blemish that resembled a hole was a beetle hole lol. To ease my paranoia (through research) I concluded that the holes that were closer to a perfect circle and let a lot of dust fall out when tapping the foot were the ones to be afraid of, and the ones that look like simple cuts and small tiny gashes were false alarms and mere blemishes. From what I've garnered reading around the web and forums, the green is similar to water spots and likely happened during fermentation process.
laficion Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 I don"t think that those are Beetle holes,They are not at all very round.I think they are just pressure that was put on the wrapper, that's all. Guy
ag794516 Posted January 27, 2015 Author Posted January 27, 2015 Tnak you so far guys. I am relieved. Maybe I have to have a closer look at the humidity.
acidmase Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 I think he's talking about the green spot in some of the pictures... thats from water droplets from the fermentation process
