Washingtonskinnies Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 I received 2 of these from my old man over Christmas. He had them hanging in his humidor for longer than he remembers **side note: he got out of cigars due to too much throat/nose congestion the next morning, any thoughts?** The pictures are all I know. Measured 6.5" (165mm to you fellas) and came in at a 46 RG. Obviously NC but don't castrate me for it, I'm from the forbidden county for Christ's sake. Thanks in advance! Jim
earthson Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii'm gonna go with curlyhead deluxe for $100, Bob! Short filler. Once in a while made with Don Carlos, Opus, or Anejo cutoffs
Washingtonskinnies Posted January 27, 2015 Author Posted January 27, 2015 Thanks gentlemen, I think you all are right. From 5 minutes of research: its cheap, inconsistent, and who knows how old (they don't seem to come in that cello anymore) Maybe all these years 'aging' will make for a unique smoke....
DWC Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 **side note: he got out of cigars due to too much throat/nose congestion the next morning, any thoughts?** From smoking too strong/spicy cigars maybe? (I'll refrain from saying lousy cigars...) Bring him around to CC's where you can get a ton of body/flavor without all that strength/spice of most NC's QdO corona, MC #3 RyJ MF Cohiba Siglo III etc 1

Washingtonskinnies Posted January 27, 2015 Author Posted January 27, 2015 Where do you smoke out of Skinnie? I'm in Rockville/Bethesda~ Annapolis for me. Can't wait for the weather to turn so I can get on the deck and out of the B&M. They are always eyeing up the cigar I'm smoking (more often than not, it's not purchased from them....). But I have a locker rental so they are getting my money either way.
Squarehead Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 It's a Curly Head,if it would be the Delux edition it would say so on the wrapper
ogus Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 remember when these were under a buck and actually worth smoking
maxcjs0101 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 I've smoked a Curlyhead Deluxe and it was ok for its price. Wayyyy better than JC Newman's Factory Throwouts crap.
