Went tupperdore diving last evening (after what was already a three cigar day at LCDH) and found this: 2001 Juan Lopez Petit Corona - got this box from El Pres in some aged selection two or so years ago and its been hit or miss, but this one was HIT all the way. Last Friday I opened a box of 1950 Partagas Presidentes in cellophane and a box of 1987 Rafael Gonzalez Lonsdales with my friend Urs Portmann in Switzerland. Both boxes are from MRN's private collection and I will share them with my Portmann group friends, John DeCosta and other good friends like Urs "USA" at my Casa in Havana next month. merc Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) Left my cigars at home at the Sydney meetup last week. Luckily Rob had me covered with a Partagas Seleccion Privada 2014 LE. Not the best age-wise, but it was one hell of a cigar. The LE's are aged 2 years though, does that count? Trying to upload a photo from work, but having trouble with this new Android update. LordAnubis Posted January 20, 2015 Author Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) Well when I left work I started feeling sick as I got on the plane from Dubai to HK. Malaria. I've been a sleep in my room trying not to **** my bed for the last three days. Only thing I've eaten since Friday night is 4 bananas. After the malaria medication some Imodium and some super strong paracetamol today I'm finally good enough to walk around a bit. Had to buy new pants because I only have one pair and it will be mighty difficult to wash them tomorrow if I don't have another pair to wear while actually doing the laundry HK is a wierd place. There's just **** going on everywhere!! I don't know where to look. Most thing a I don't even know if I should be looking at it!! Crazy place! Settled in for a smoke at the LCDH here with 2014 bolivar. Maybe it's cos I'm sick still or something but this doesn't really fit the bolivar profile I don't think.
