dowjr1 Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Three big things this year: 1) Habano smoking is not an immediate gratification game. Rather, an investment of money and time to achieve a superior result. 2) The care for CCs is different than the care for NCs. Specifically, RH for storage and dry boxing/lower RH prior to smoking. 3) Through the forums and discussions, I learned a lot about Habanos in general, the different brands and their reputations, thoughts about small vs large rings. It's been a great year.
sheppsea Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 I learnt what people mean when they say parenthood is hard, it is, but not in the way I was expecting But I also learnt that being a father is the single greatest feeling on earth Cigar related, I learnt the joy of smoking socially and also how frustrating it is to smoke a cigar that is phenomenal but is unlikely to be readily available again, at least at a price I can afford 1
topdiesel Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 I've also learned a great deal about accounting (finishing up a degree) and my propensity to be a selfish ass if not kept in check! Congrats on getting near the end of the accounting degree. It is a challenging degree and opens many doors. Choose the right one for your personality type. An accounting degree can take you so many places. I have learned how much I can learn by listening to others who are really interested in something. I have learned how to live, learn, and laugh through my 5 year old and my 3 year old. After my coffee pot broke, I re-learned how awesome french pressed coffee is.
GodofFire Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 After finally making the plunge into CC I have found that I assured way too long. I am now totally in love with these cigars. Just wished that I could afford more of the larger ring sizes. I just want to thank all those BOTL that pushed me onto trying CC out. So far I have been lucky enough that I have yet to have any of my shipments confiscated which makes me continue to purchase these yummies. To those that have taught me about the world of CC I will forever be in your debt. Thanks to all Mike
