That didn't work out so well for me. I got a great cab of Mag 46 from AUB May '13 so I ordered a second, AUB Jun '13.

The difference in quality was like night and day.

Buying blind is still a crapshoot.

Yeah, there are unfortunately no guarantees with a hand made product, especially one of the Cuban tobacco variety.

It's a code for a factory, but since 2003 no one can no for sure which one. What matters is if you have a factory code for a particular month and year for a box of cigars you like you can use this three letter code as a reference as to what is good product or not.

Don't believe everything you read. Do your own research before saying such a thing. It certainly makes it easier for selling though.
