I see a somewhat distaste for floral. Now, I love floral cigars. What I absolutely hate is a soapy cigars.

Are they one in the same, though...?

Not at all. The floral flavours form a separate category; soap flavor is a defect.

Best: Cream; Stonefruit; Nuts; Caramel; CoffeeWorst: Earthy; Wood

Best: empyreumatic flavors in general, sweet spices;

Worst: floral, vegetal (with the exception of mushrooms).

Empyreumatic: a word you don't often hear. In fact I just spent five minutes googling a definition as it is my first encounter with this gem. I think I get what you mean. In which case I agree.

If tea, as in some Punch Punch, is vegetal than I'm good with vegetal.

Floral is ok as a change of pace, with the exception of JL #1 which I think of as having a floral component - I smoke a lot of JL #1.

Soapy perfum: yuck!

Favourite: savoury-earthy-nuttiness of Bolivar. I love Bolivar.

Least favourite: one dimension floral. Best example I can give is HDM Palmas Extras.
