Bigpoppa99 Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Hi, I'm new to the forum. Been smoking premium cigars on and off for almost 25 years. It's pretty hard to find a good place in NYC to smoke after all the bans. Looking forward to catching up on posts and making aquantices. BP99
gtejada Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 And may I recommend Club Macanudo, Diamante's in Brooklyn or the Velvet Lounge
Bigpoppa99 Posted November 19, 2014 Author Posted November 19, 2014 Thanks I been to club Macanudo. Nice vibe but they have a minimum per person to sit at a table now. Not sure if they had that policy for a while. I know they didn't when it first opened. We can't even smoke in a NYC park. I'll check out the other places Thanks!
torsion Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Welcome fellow NYC brother! You've stumbled across a great place (if not the best place) to learn and enjoy. As for not being able to smoke in the parks, I'm also aware of the rules but often sneek a smoke here and there. Cigar Inn is a decent spot as it's BYOB but they want you to buy their sticks (which is a fair enough policy) I've recently discovered Bar and Books (Lex) which has a very reasonable cutting fee (and ok scotch menu) Diamante's in Brooklyn - great place, very informal but not a wide selection at all and storage is questionable.
