Skyfall Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Dave Bautista rumored to be cast as new bond villain, Hinx for the 2015 release of Bond 24. Script has been polished and is officially in pre-production. I've heard the script is awesome, but not sure about this casting choice.
GernBlansten Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Interesting. Perhaps down the same path a "Bain" in Dark Knight?
brutusthebuckeye Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Yo D...if this character doesn't have many lines speaking in the movie Bautista May b ok...lol... Loved wrastlin in 80's 90's.. Got out of it for last 15 years, trying to get back into it has been very difficult....very limited on Bautista but what I've seen he kinda sux at acting...
polarbear Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 He'd make a better henchman than a villain Maybe a 21st century Odd Job? 1
MIKA27 Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I was pleasantly surprised by Dave in Guardians of the galaxy, his acting wasn't all that bad although I would think a Bond Villain would have a lot more lines.
MWH Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I can't really see him as pulling off a role that is Semi Serious. I liked him in Guardians and also The man with the Iron Fists but still can't see him as an actor that would be able to be anything other than the brute or henchman type role.
pbibby Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 I am sure you are right (so don't take this the wrong way) but I hope you are wrong. I just cannot see him working in the Daniel Craig Bond movies. They are much more serious (a nice change of pace) than the Peirce Brosnan movies. I just hope they don't screw themselves with this.

Fosgate Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Liked him in Guardians and Riddick. Fortunately I have seen him in his documentary WWE Bautista I walk alone. His mom is a bit of a hippie but he seems much more quet, reserved and humble. Yet the guy comes across as an intelligent speaker. I think it will be a huge test to see what the guy can do outside of a typical hired muscle role. First Part. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xodazt_b-iwa-pt1_sport
Skyfall Posted November 14, 2014 Author Posted November 14, 2014 BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank God the rumor was wrong!!! Perfect casting!!! Christoph Waltz!!!!! http://comicbook.com/2014/11/14/christoph-waltz-cast-in-james-bond-24/
pbibby Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Thank. God. Seriously, thank him because that would have been terrible..... Haha!
Ken Gargett Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 would not know him if i fell over him but i saw a report in one story about waltz being the villain (or possibly a sort of friend/villain mix) that had this guy as the henchman. no idea how creditible but it seemed a reasonable report.
Skyfall Posted November 14, 2014 Author Posted November 14, 2014 Early rumors were Bautista was the main Villain, now it seems Waltz is, and Bautista may just be secondary. Which is a good thing! 1
