El Presidente Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I actually love them but they are a heavy mastercase. Did my back in moving them around this afternoon in order to check. I have never had a back injury even after 25 years of Rugby. If anyone has some instant fixes...I am all ears!
Popular Post El Presidente Posted October 22, 2014 Author Popular Post Posted October 22, 2014 Heat i suspect a Thai body slide massage is out of the question.....even if it was on purely medical grounds 7
1LegLance Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Yep, stretch slowly, then heat for 20min max, then let your muscles relax. Also even a 2 second stretch BEFORE you lift/move something will make a big difference in the future. 25 yrs as an amputee has taught me to take a second before I do something to make sure I will be good to go after I do something
sactochris Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Xanax and alchohol should have you right as rain in no time mate. 4
NJP Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I'm from the school of cool (ice) only to reduce inflammation. Is it muscular, skeletal all things to know b4 advice.
madandana Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Having issues right now. You want To alternate ice and heat. Walks are good for it. After it starts feeling better spend 30 seconds or more each morning stretching out. Oh and alcohol and drugs do help as well:). To bad your on the wagon.
Duxnutz Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 i suspect a Thai body slide massage is out of the question.....even if it was on purely medical grounds Lots of establishments on Parramatta Rd that'll sort you out! 1

CdnLimitada Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Heat is wrong initially. Do some ice. I find heat is misused 90% of the time. Finding a good Chiropractor is a good idea. Come see me if you want to get out to Singapore 2
Mahstah Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Ice, I have back problems in general (I have a nagging bulging disc that likes to pop out once a year) sadly nothing but time really fixes it To prevent it in the future besides the stretching thing. Work on building up your core muscles (it's been 2 years since it happened to me last time since I started doing some simple core exercises and I do not have a 6 pack body by far, I'm closer to a party ball. )
cigardude Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 couple glasses of scotch and a ConnieA while resting 1
tmac77 Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Stop trying to lift master cases... the mind says yes and the body says no...you not as young as you used to be Rob.
Moogypug Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 i suspect a Thai body slide massage is out of the question.....even if it was on purely medical grounds This really made me laugh! I take Naproxen 500mg twice a day for 7 days. And some heat. That calms it down.
Dozerhead Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Next time lift with your legs. You might be better off finding out if there is any structural damage done, such as a bulging disk, before following any online advice. Diagnosis usually determines the treatment plan. Are you having any referred or radiating pain down either leg, or is the pain localized?
Sver Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I actually love them but they are a heavy mastercase. Did my back in moving them around this afternoon in order to check. I have never had a back injury even after 25 years of Rugby. If anyone has some instant fixes...I am all ears! I've been having back issues for around a year now following what sounds like a similar situation only i was moving a damn armoir and not delicious cigars. I stumbled upon a youtube video of a guy explaining some back exercises and stretches, been doing them for about 3 weeks now and i swear to god i feel a major difference. Might not be the best plan immediately following an injury but i think it's definitely a good exercise routine to help facilitate a healthier back in the future. There is also a 12 minute workout on youtube, i consider myself in pretty decent shape but that stuff is hard. Hope this can help somebody Take her easy guys 1
cigarbreak Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Drug free, just saw this on tv the other day, its Elastic Kinesiology Therapeutic Sports Tape sold at Walmart. Looks pretty cool.
jat Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 A young female assistant with inappropriate shorts. You'll be lifting boxes like Hercules. You'll also be crippled later but for a very short time you'll feel young.
