The recent video reviews got me thinking, as did Rush's recent post :ok:

So.... when do you actually smoke cigars? Is it when your better half is out..? Do you smoke solely with friends as a communal activity..? After work/or while commuting daily as a release..? In your man-cave on the weekend...? Or, only on special occasions..?

I'm interested to hear your reasons behind this! :)

90% of the time this depends on my wife. If she's not home, time to light up. If she is home, try to get her out.

If I could smoke in my sleep, I would.

Love my kid and every waking minute I get to be around her is the best... Love my job defending a 'useless' judicial system (sorry Maplepie, I couldn't resist)... Love my wife, love my home, love my

I smoke a cigar when I feel like having one unless I'm somewhere I can't, like on an airplane or in Queensland lookaround.gif

Just about anytime, although generally not before breakfast.

Personally it depends on the weather. During the cold months I smoke around my school/work schedule and when the lounges are open. I rarely go out and spend $25+ on a stick when I'm alone, so I smoke with my buddies most in winter.

Come summer time I like either 10 am or long after the sun goes down, preferably after 10 pm because the silence is bliss. But when friends are around it can be any time of the day, BBQs, parties, whenever it is. Also only smoke in the car in the months that I can leave the windows down.

It depends on the weather and who I am with. If the wife and I have something planned, smoking gets pushed back. I usually smoke alone because I can concentrate on the cigar more but sometimes I smoke with others. I used to smoke at work until they banned smoking.

Monday thru Friday, always one (petite corona or perla) after I get home from the office with two or

three Cuba Libre's. Saturday and Sunday, most always two starting mid to late afternoon before dinner. All of my smoking is done in my cigar cave.

I usually smoke when I'm firing up the egg. Half corona is typically perfect. Burned a reyes today. Fired up reyes, then fired up egg. Tossed taters in oven, and then sat and relaxed while waiting for egg to stabilize and heat up

When I am working I enjoy a smoke after work....which is usually around 11p to midnight.

On the weekends it is pretty much anytime but like HabanoMike not usually before breakfast :)

Morning, noon or night...all good! But if it's special, usually evening and with company! If I have a little drive ahead of me for work it's pretty hard to resist smoking too and from my jobsite. Have to be careful in the mornings as it takes my work ethic away and I'm self employed so that's not usually very productive.

I'm usually an evening sort of guy. Try to keep the consumption somewhat low (2 per week average) just because it takes up such a significant chunk of my free time. I'm at my practice 60 hours per week, so any free time is precious.

I smoke much more in the summers, maybe 4-5 times per week and minimally in the winter. And whenever the wife is away, I go to town. No one to criticize how much I'm smoking spotlight.gif

I smoke when I "can". I try not to take time away from the wife and kid, so for me it is about 1 time every two weeks in the summer. In winter, it is when a friend wants to go to the lounge with me.

I guess I need to smoke more...... Haha

I smoke only on the weekends, 1-2 at most. Winters are my hiatus from the hobby. Today I experimented with smoking the last 20-30 minutes of a RASCC while walking. I didn't enjoy it one bit and won't be doing that any time soon. I much rather prefer being able to have a seat in the sun and have peace-of-mind with some tea at hand.

Whenever I get the chance. Usually about once every other day. Most folks I do work for like me smoking and talking with them. A lot of retirees so they like the company and remember when smoking was cool. If at home after the kids go to bed.

I wouldn't be walking around smoking a powerhouse of a cigar like a RASCC they maybe small but the good ones got quite a kick!

Stick with a light blend cigar when walking.

It wasn't so much the strength that bothered me as it was the smoke blowing back in my face, heh. I suppose I'm just so used to being still when smoking and letting the smoke unfurl as I release it from my mouth. When I was walking I found myself having to blow the smoke out from the sides rather quickly and I feel I missed out on a lot of the flavor in the process.

I used to only smoke when the weather would permit and with my work schedule it was mainly at night. If I had actual cigar company I could smoke during the day after some sort of meal. Vacation I try to smoke one a day.

Now with the ManCave I smoke whenever I please but mainly when the wife is nowhere to be found. Still mainly nighttime as I like to have a beverage of adult persuasion with a cigar. The wife has been in Vegas so I've had a cigar a day for the past three nights!

Don't have a place I can smoke inside side so my smoking habits are very weather dependent.

When the weather is nice, whenever it pleases me.

This time of the year; when it's not too wet out (which is becoming rare these days). I don't Mind the cold so much (it's what long underwear is for) but I find it hard on my uncovered patio to enjoy a cigar on a rainy day.

Mostly in the afternoon, i usually smoke once a week , or as my mood dictates.cigar.gifcigar.gif

Whenever the time presents itself. Usually a few a week. Mostly by myself. I try to find a scenic place or somewhere I won't be bothered. I find it to be very meditative, and really feeds my introverted necessity for recharging. I often pair smoking with reading a book or my Bible. Once or twice a month I get together with my "cigar" friends, the ones that actually appreciate a good smoke, and we kick back with some conversation, cigars and some scotch rum or gin (my favorite).

Whenever I feel like it, have time and opportunity. Almost always feel like a cigar, make the time and find the opportunity.
