Montecristo No. 2 UME FEB 14 Review

My box of mc no.2 was a nov13 box.

So far I had about 7-8 of em and 3 were duds.

Flavor was lacking , wasn't very creamy , wasn't very sweet , was just plain bland.

But the few good ones I had from that box .

Light sweetness , light hints of tart . Exetremely smooth smoke , good smoke output .

It's kind of hard to review it right now because I'm enjoying a partagas p2 lol

Thanks for the review amart. I've smoked most of a NOV 13 box of 10 MC No. 2s and most have been very good. The first one I had was outstanding with layers of cream, coffee, and hints of sweetness from the tobacco. Some have had a little more muted flavors but all enjoyable. I recently picked up another box (2014) but I will be laying these down for a nice long nap to hopefully avoid issues

While I've only had one Monte 2 mine was pretty less than spectacular as well

Thanks for the review. The first CC I ever tried was a Monte #2 that was gifted to me, and it blew me away. I have been chasing that experience ever since, and as others have mentioned in this post, it's been very hit and miss with the subsequent #2s.

But when they are on, it is SO worth the chase.
