Rushman Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 No question. HUHC and RASCC Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Dammit party shorts too. Top 3. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
ramon_cojones Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 I voted for 5 rob sig i (09 from EL are like mini cce) rg perla (love these) rascc (my fav come on i'm mr RA) shorts (a staple) huhc (big cigar in small package)
westg Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Upmann half corona ,big big flavours in a small package I have started taking them to work one or two during the day. Partagas short , have stocked up on some really nice stock of late ...rich savoury little suckers I just love them
Ramrod918 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Scdlh principe something about them seems like autumn/winter dark an rich, could just be the season approaching in n. america. 2nd i voted for reyes minus a couple plugs these hit the spot for me. 1
subport Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Shorts and BCJ without a doubt. By far. Like rascc, monte5, huhc too. To be honest the latest box of Monte5 was 50-50. Half of the box were trash due to wind-tunelling
Joker Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Difficult to pick two Have Parti Shorts, Reyes, MC5 & SC ElPrinc in my rotation, quite difference flavour profiles, but love them all Variety is the spice of life!! Voted PS& ElPrinc
laficion Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 A no-brainer for me, an H.Upmann, Half Corona & Ramon Allones , Short Club Corona. Guy
Hafner32 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 HUHC and RASCC with the Principes in a close third place
IcedCanuck Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 H.Upmann Half Corona and Partagas Short for me. I wouldn't go anywhere near the Monte 5, sig 1, and the rafael gonzalez perla. Horrible CCs IMO.
rmill3r Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 These have to be my favorite size (when I want something thicker I'll go for a robusto or belicoso), but since I'm new to CCs, I've been trying to stick to the smaller (and thankfully more inexpensive) versions of each marca. So far, none have disappointed - Upmann Half Corona, Ramon Allones Small Club Corona, Party Shorts, Bolivar CJs, Monte No. 5s....all of them have been magnificent ROTT. But, I might give the edge to the Monte, which is completely opposite of what I originally anticipated. The flavors are just so full, rich and savory. Can't get over it.
cigarbreak Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Only ones I haven't tried are the Party Shorts and the Monte 5. Of the ones I've tried I'd go for (and voted) Siglo 1 and Trini Reyes but haven't made them part of my rotation. The Sig1's were the first CC's I brought back from Cuba and 'm glad to have had the chance to experience these tasty things, I just couldn't keep my hands of them so I've tucked away my last two somewhere deep in my humi lol. My next pick up should involve a Trini Reyes for sure but not the Cohibas bc of price. What I am really enjoying right now however are those El Principes! What a great cigar. Love the coffee and sweet notes I get with that nice medium body. I used to like the RG Perlas until I tried other sticks in this vitola and just forgot about it...the box of huhc`s I had were inconsistent in construction and hence affected the experience. Rascc`s are great but I think I`m tired of them for now as I went through two boxes as a quick smoke and wanted a change of pace.
littlepea Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Can't see the poll as I'm on tapatalk, but I'd pick El principe and party shorts. I actually prefer a good monte 5 over both but I find them hit and miss.
fokker4me Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Party shorts for me but had there been a PL option on there, that would be me. 2nd is the SCdLH EP
ramon_cojones Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 I wouldn't go anywhere near the Monte 5, sig 1, and the rafael gonzalez perla. Horrible CCs IMO. Boy I sure hope nobody listens to this as a proper sig i and rg perla are phenomenal little smokes. You'd be doing yourself a huge disservice by not trying them. Sure the sigs are expensive and I'd only purchase a hand picked box but they will wow you with some age. The perla was good fresh and now with a year or two is everything montecristo wishes it was, amazingly rich and flavorful. I've had some bad perlas but they were all from petacas so stay away from those. I've only had a couple monte 5s and while I wouldn't purchase any they were surprising, strong and to the point. I'd gladly smoke one if offered. 4
Drguano Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 H.Upmann Half Corona and Partagas Short because I haven't, to my knowledge, had either.
610 Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 I'd choose the Shorts and the Corona Juniors. Then I'd have my GF choose the Reyes and Rascc Lol. A lot of great little cigars on that list, you could basically throw a dart and win.
El Presidente Posted October 5, 2014 Author Posted October 5, 2014 Rob, are the du Depute still being made? -R They are mate. Can be great little smokes but in terms of quality, all over the place currently.
maverickdrinker Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 RASSC, HUHC, sig 1, monte 5 and Trinidad Reyes always have a place in my humidor...
mikek Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 You can only vote for one!? I would say RASCC Party Short, havent tried the HUHC,but I'll fix that this winter, after all the great comments!
