LGC Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Never had a stellar A or Sancho Sancho... Always plugged or boring... Early 90s to 2001. Would rather smoke two cigars.

kittipong Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 I think they are still plenty in Andorra too.
ramon_cojones Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 had one good 03 and one average 03, nothing i would purchase myself i have a hoyo particular that is rather intimidating but i plan on smoking soon when i have hours of nothing to do
jacktarnold Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Bought a box of 5 at the beginning of the year with 2012 box code. So they are still around probably just not being rolled to often because of the wrapper issues.

cigcars Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Who remembers those Sancho Panza Sanchos?? that preembarg Corona we had, Michel? One that tasted like those? Damn are both good. Over a Montecristo A anyday. Wonder what gray market prices for Sanchos are nowadays. Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry. *You stated the very thing I had in mind too while reading this; who has seen any Sancho Panza Sanchos these days?? Apparently, it's gone the way of our favorite dinosaurs in HSA's decisions to "cut 'em loose" too
Maplepie Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 *You stated the very thing I had in mind too while reading this; who has seen any Sancho Panza Sanchos these days?? i have..... in my humidor. asked around. still plenty of dried stock left in the Barcelona stores, apparently. would love to venture through again one day and try to clean out the small B&Ms. Same with those SP Don Quixotes. Just gotta find ones that aren't from 1999-2001...

Habana Mike Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Those Don Quixotes aren't Habanas are they? Oh, that's just Jez...... Of course General does proffer the Sancho Panza Double Maduro Quixote though I expect that's not what was meant
Smallclub Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Those Don Quixotes aren't Habanas are they? He meant the Quijotes, Regional edition for Spain in 2010. DC (Prominente) size. 2
RijkdeGooier Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 He meant the Quijotes, Regional edition for Spain in 2010. DC (Prominente) size. Of which there are mixed reviews. Young they were not very much acclaimed, recently some people think they have turned the corner.
Troels Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Had a Don Q in the spring - wasnt any good Edit: wasnt any taste to be found really
melies Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Of which there are mixed reviews. Young they were not very much acclaimed, recently some people think they have turned the corner. Maplepie Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Last one left for me. Agree with flavourless. Agree with saltiness. Goes splendid Talisker. Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry.
RijkdeGooier Posted February 11, 2015 Author Posted February 11, 2015 They are back in boxes of 5 coffins - apparently one can never believe what one is told
JohnS Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Oh gosh guys...seriously! Is this another one of those vitolas that fail to sell and then we end up lamenting it's not (going to be) around even though retailers can't move the stock? Please, if you love this vitola my sincere heartfelt apology for your loss, I'm just trying to look at this from an objective point of view.
Professor Twain Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I had an 02 box of 5 that was really a treasure. I recently found a box of five available right here on FOH! Put in an order, not sure what year they will be. Trevor's site says that boxes of 25 discontinued in 2010.
El Presidente Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I haven't seen 25's in a while. Coffins still available every other month on the order sheets.
Hiroshiro Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Yea Didi just got 2014 Monte As. So still around. Might have to give them a whirl and see what they are about. Rob what year was the last one you had? 1
DoubleDD Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I currently have 5 enroute in coffins. Should be here this week. I haven't had one in 10+ years.
mgravito Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Meh. As sad as I am to see the Imperiales go, if this went it wouldn't make me the least bit sad.
Trevor2118 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 And if you do try finding the time to smoke one . I have a couple Cohiba A's that I've just never got around to smoking because of the time involved. People keep interrupting me (cough "wife"). 2
Optic101 Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Last year shipment from Rob was from 2012. What would be a good age to smoke them?
