Dozerhead Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 For me it's a no brainer with the PE. I enjoy other vitolas from the Monte line, too, but for consistency, nothing beats the PE, imo. But, as the old adage goes, taste is subjective.

I didn't vote but I whole heartedly agree. Only had Monte 4's and 2's. First box of 4's was one of my first ever CC box purchases and they were heavenly. 2nd box..... it's still "resting" hoping to come around. Monte 2's were a bit better. 1st box was knockout, but it was a box split 4 ways, 2nd box was still good but not WOW. Just got a box of HQ from our host and those will be heavily guarded.

I've only smoked one that has rested for about a month and it was like drinking a cappuccino. Wonky burn but was truly a great cigar. 1
