kcmontie Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I know for me it's none. They all maybe are hip to NC a little bit but they have never had a CC unless I gave it to them. Maybe it's I live in the US maybe I need new friends... JJ 3
HarveyBoulevard Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Zero. Zilch. Nada. My father-in-law turned me on to the hobby. I smoke with him a couple times a month but other than that its just me and the pooch for my nightly quiet time after the kiddo is down and the wife is relaxing.
polarbear Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Started off with none but now thanks to me having them over all the time (and their constant mooching of my sticks) I now have about half a dozen mates who all have desktops and decent selections that smoke both with me and alone at home. 1
bradbrennan Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Two of my brothers are gaining enthusiasm and my daughter's fiance. Have a couple friends that are coming around to the idea
kcmontie Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 I just left a message in the US only post area that's how desperate I am getting. I am sick of giving great cigars to people that don't even like them.
CdnLimitada Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Yeah this was me too. Coming over for poker once a month and smoking a ton of mine, a few have taken it upon themselves to start their own small humidors. Now I can go over and smoke theirs! Started off with none but now thanks to me having them over all the time (and their constant mooching of my sticks) I now have about half a dozen mates who all have desktops and decent selections that smoke both with me and alone at home.
Habana Mike Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I've a little better than a handful. A couple that live nearby and a few dispersed across the country and around the globe.
Duxnutz Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I just left a message in the US only post area that's how desperate I am getting. I am sick of giving great cigars to people that don't even like them. Sending you a PM. I visit LA regularly and used to hang out in Belmont Shores all the time! 1
MIKA27 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I'm also in the alone category and it makes it boring when I have company as they often bag cigars in a negative manner. So, I enjoy them alone instead. Steve (OzCuban) keeps telling me he's relocating to Melbourne just for some company when enjoying a cigar
kcmontie Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 Please do Dux, I have some great smokes I would love to share with people that love and injoy the CC.
Rye Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I'm fortunate to be surrounded by a bunch of great BOTL. I have too many if you ask the missus...
Lant63 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 About 4 of my buddies in my fraternity all have humidors, and we do box splits all the time. Another one of my best buddies at school also has a large desktop, but he "only smokes Cohiba and Trinidad." In general smoking with them is a lot of fun.
davidsan Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I've been lucky to make some mates through cigars - true BOTL stuff. I have a couple cousins/relatives who enjoy a good CC every now and again. Though these days I'm far too busy with work to be able to fit in with most social smoking times so I usually end up smoking at odd hours on my own over a nice book & glass of rum. Unfortunately I don't make it down to FOH HQ nearly as often as I'd like to.
leftimatic Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Just my bro-in-law and see him maybe three times a year. But we make up for lost time. Just smoked a Trinidad with a frog watching me if that counts.

canucks6024 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 None. That's why the community on the internet is so important for me. Most of the times that I'm having a cigar, I'm surfing the forums. 1
Jeremy Festa Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Half a dozen! But of them, only 3 of them are full on frothers for cigars! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
jerryg05495 Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 A couple of people I know have a cigar occasionally, but not regularly.

theholmesmob Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Family committments + 18 holes on a Sunday + finding time for cigar over the weekend = happy wife. If I tried to add another factor like ' me time to smoke cigars with like- minded individuals', then the equation would = unhappy wife So the nett result is that it is mostly a solo activity for me.....
Lotusguy Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Two are serious cigar smokers and I am slowly converting more to occasional smokers (one of them just bought his first box)
