Habana Mike Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 bahaha love it! Footy talk is full of this sort of stuff. There's also 'youse' which is australian for 'you all'. Which of course means that when Jeff Fenech used to say "I love youse all" he was actually saying "I love you all all" And for all Jeff Fenech fans there's also "en. em. air" . Pronounced not a lot differently to 'enema'. Y'all got that 'youse' from Joisey....youse guys!

Smallclub Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 In France, the people involved in football (players, coaches, reporters) are no longer able to articulate a proper sentence. One of the few exceptions is Arsène Wenger (manager of Arsenal) who sometimes comments games for french TV.

MrGTO Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 I say one all the time myself, and I'm always corrected for it..."irregardless". Can't help it though. Grew up hearing my Dad say it all the time. I say this all the time just to piss the wife off! It works every time! Of course, me being from Tennessee and her from Cali we have very different ways of speaking, if yall know what i mean.
