Too bad I just got back from Myrtle. I would smoke the full flavored ones and bring hoe the milder ones to not overwhelm the pallet.

You're on vacation. No pressure. No decisions to make. Just reach in a grab one and enjoy. Nice selection. You can't go wrong with any of those. The only considerations would be the obvious ones: number of days of vacation and time alloted for each smoke. If time is no consideration, just grab one.

When I'm on vacation, I usually take two cigars per day. One long smoke (2-3 hours) and one shorter smoke (45 minutes to 1 hr. 15 minutes. Start around 2 each day and finish smoking both in time for dinner, or save the short one for after dinner.

There are many aspects of vitolas. I am a believer that flavors and taste performance has a lot to do with the ring of a cigar but that is not what you asked.

Another reason for various vitolas is the ability to shape the cigar experience to the available time as well as the desired taste. Even if budget is not a concern, I cannot see myself lighting up a Julieta #2 to smoke for 20 minutes… It is a waste of a potentially good cigar.

The correctly made cigar, matches the correctly timed smoking experience and for that reason, I liked the post above. Even if you can afford to smoke a large cigar in place of a small one, you cheat yourself as well the cigar itself by not allowing for the time it takes the cigar to develop to its potential; a climax, if you will.

The right time will call out for the right cigar, you will grab the right one when the time arises. Unless the cigar is not a good one, and there is nothing you can do about that regardless of the vitola, you will get the right one.

Have fun mate! -R

Good points, don't overthink it. Just grasp what looks good for the time and go with the flow!

Thanks all. :-)

I would choose on how much time do I have and which mood am I.

For me it is about the expierience and a good time.

Good on you to bring such a selection.

Just my 2ct.

Left to right, duh. Unless Hebrew or Japanese are your primary language, in which case I would suggest right to left.

Cheers!

For me it is about matching the cigar to the mood...

But that only works if you have smoked the stick before.

In your case there is the mystery of each cigar so all I would suggest is that you just make sure to smoke the lighter sticks in earlier part of the day or as the first cigar and the medium/full sticks later in the day or as a second or third cigar.

First sticks/light would be:

Quai, PL, ERdM, SCdlH, Cohiba

Second/medium would be:

Parti, Boli, SLR, RASSC and such

There isn't much to add to the previous answers, just take it easy and let your mood decide. They're all good cigars.

Pair with a nice drink or simply with ice water. Tea might be an option, or coffee.

Let us know how it went!

Working out fine. So far

Sat night: pd-4. Liked it, good med. party flavors.

Sun afternoon : nice and calm out 74 deg. Went for the SLR DC. Really enjoyed started with some serious spicy then mellowed right out to a Sweet earthy taste.

Sun night: Boli RC AT, good full flavor some sweet and some cream here and there. End got a bit harsh toasty tobacco to it,could have been from it being a it under filled. Almost wanted to come apart.

Mon afternoon: ERDM Chx Sup, perfect burn light coffee tobacco taste leaves a sweet aftertaste nice light smoke.

I'm on track to burn em all!

I haven't had one of those yet...looking forward to your thoughts.

Depending on price I might not get one either so I will be even more interested in your thoughts :)

Connie A thoughts from a no palate noob. Lol. Well very smooth especially for a April 14 cigar. Light sweetness maybe honey flavor to it. Something like a sir Winston though not as complex!

Been a nice smoke while battling a four inch flying cockroach off my balcony.
