Clubs, minis, etc, are crap that burn hot.

I'd rather smoke the first third of a JLPiedra petit cazadore, or even cheaper, a small bowl of first class tobacco in a corn cob pipe or a group 1 or group 2 briar pipe…

I agree. The Joyita (and Cigarritos) deserve more than 10-15 minutes. I take 30 minutes to enjoy them properly. Presently I'm smoking some meh Los Statos de Luxe and even these cheapo machine-mades will do 25 minutes.

Another alternative is to cut a longer cheapo in half. When working, I can blow through 4 or 5 Quintero Brevas, but I think they'd work cut in two for a pretty good smoke. Same could be said for the JLP Cazadores.

Those cremas take me borderline an hour. Bloody brilliant smokes IMO.

I know many who gut-wrenchingly detest them, though.

I have smoked a few cremas. They were good, but a bit harsh. I think a few years on them would make them a perfect budget stick.

I say just give it a try... I'm a slow smoker myself!

I shall, but I gotta find a few singles first.

That's a good idea. I keep forgetting you can cut a cigar in two. For some reason I have an aversion to trying it out.
