rtrimbath Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I am forced to smoke outside unfortunately. I have found if I take a walk around the block while smoking it helps warm me up just enough to make the cold tolerable. I do find myself visiting my local B&M a lot more in the winter though.
jacktarnold Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I have a local keno bar that somehow got around the smoking laws and built what is basically a shed attached to there main building with a large overhead door. It had a firepit, pool table and what not. It is quite enjoyable but across town so not really convenient.
Guest gerlinan Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 We have a private indoor cigar club near my office. In the winter (in Minnesota) it's well worth the price to be able to enjoy a cigar in the comfort of a heated room full of nice leather furniture and big screen TVs. Heaven! Gentleman, you may smoke
jabster Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 This is the reason I'm insulating and lining my shed to make it a warm(ish) man cave. I don't suffer the Canadian winters though only down to -4 here!
Shikar Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Smoke outside in Houston winter. The problem is summer.....kinda like trying to smoke in a sauna. Regards.
BRAC Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I move into the garage. Got a couple lazy boy recliners with a little side table in between. It does the trick. 1
dvickery Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 ummmm ... question : why not just smoke in the living room ??? why is it people wont smoke in thier house ??? derrek
amart Posted September 14, 2014 Author Posted September 14, 2014 Smoke smell in the house diminishes resale value is why I won't
Drexl2000 Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I stop smoking during winter, but continue buying boxes. Winter is all about hoarding and ageing for me :-) I drink a lot more whisky in that periode though...
LordAnubis Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Sometimes it gets down to 22C here... I almost think about putting on a jacket. Those days are tough.
Optic101 Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Sometimes it gets down to 22C here... I almost think about putting on a jacket. Those days are tough. That's tough, lucky we only have 24C lowest so far. No Ice Age yet ....
CUBANO Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 ah darn... less likely that you would come to Toronto, then damn nanny statists taking away our cigar bars. and pushing us underground... Toronto is a city I want to visit, but only in the summer. Visited my brother a few years ago in Minnesota in January and almost froze to death. LOL 1
Maplepie Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Toronto is a city I want to visit, but only in the summer. Hmmmmmmm... why's that? for this, maybe:? SHAMELESS PLUG

Squarehead Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I'm lucky enough to be able to smoke in my Mancave in the basement.Turn on the heatrecovery system on high and there's no smell in the house the next morning. As for resale value,I don't intend to sell as I just moved in this house 9 month ago.

hounser Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Last year it was out in the shed. This year the attached garage will be my smoking place of choice, just need to find a good heater. 1
Squarehead Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 bring me up with you one day, Hans... still gotta get you into gin! I rather have a Schwarzwälder Kirschwasser, other than that you're welcome to come up here for a smoke. 1
Maplepie Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 I rather have a Schwarzwälder Kirschwasser is there some hidden meaning in there? I thought you Germans were supposed to be direct!

Dreameagl Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Last year it was out in the shed. This year the attached garage will be my smoking place of choice, just need to find a good heater. I love those little heat dishes. They make it feel warm enough really fast.
