tjohn7 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Don't remind me. Here in Michigan we had the worst winter in history last year. Like 250 cm of snow and temps in the -30C range. Brutal. I hope where you're at warms up. Winter is hell. 2
Omskakas Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 It's very warm September here in Finland at the moment. But sure, we experience nasty winters all the time. But not quite yet!
rckymtn22 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 That is nothing, we have about 10-15cms on the ground there this morning. White winter wonder land. +20's for the weekend!

LordAnubis Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Its rain season here... 32C all week, expecting about 50mm a day. Haven't got malaria so far this swing so we'll see how I go 1
tjohn7 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 It was horrid in Detroit. Thank god I had a Fraternity house to smoke in. I was working at the Detroit VA/Kresge Eye Institute and commuting from the suburbs. Some of those commutes were around 3 hours long. Pure, unadulterated hell.
tagheuer Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Here is what's like in Calgary this morning, when it was 22 deg C just two days ago.
santela Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I hate winters with a passion, summers too.

IcedCanuck Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Still nice in Ontario :-) We have a few projects to finish up (Construction) before we want winter here November would be perfect A buddy of mine sent me a pic of the front of his house this morning from northern Ontario. They received a bit of a white dusting. Calgary didn't look very nice this morning either....

Lant63 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 It was horrid in Detroit. Thank god I had a Fraternity house to smoke in. We need to get together for a herf then! I'm less than 10 min from there.
Rye Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Well, the joys of living against the Rockies. And more to come yet... It'll be T-shirt weather by the weekend, and I'll take this in exchange for warm "chinook" winds that put us at 15-20c mid January.
Omskakas Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 What is winter? It's a season we see here at north. It's coming. You know what else we see here? Rain. Can you see any rain coming there?
Lotusguy Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 It's a season we see here at north. It's coming. You know what else we see here? Rain. Can you see any rain coming there? Haven't seen rain in years Actually, that's a real problem hereabouts.
