jedipastor Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 They are owned by a Brazilian private equity company. I'm not sure what I think of you using the words "Brazilian" and "private" next to each other ... 1

Maplepie Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 i could never get along with their coffee black........ Iced caps on the other hand.
amart Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 The Tim Hortons in my town has the WORST service of any fast food chain I've ever been to. I'm relatively positive they have a maximum IQ set and won't hire anyone above that IQ - which seems to be in the 15th percentile.

JHands Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Maybe things have changed, but when I moved away from buffalo in 2006 Tim hortons in the area were always slammed. I liked their coffee... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
khomeinist Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Canada has Jon Bon Jovi. Yes. He is yours. Ralph's Ghost.

dubleuhb Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Canada has Jon Bon Jovi. Yes. He is yours. Ralph's Ghost. Nah, they dropped him from the group today, said they have a better chance of landing the team without him. I say they can have the team buh bye
khomeinist Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Nope. He is still Canadian to me. Lifelong Bills fan. So no bye bye for me. Drink the Peluga Kool aid.
dubleuhb Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Well the latest in the saga that will never end here is Jovi is no longer part of the equation. They want to get this done because the tax man is coming shortly, buyers market for the right group. If I'm not mistaken Pagula will have to sell the Sabres due to NHL rules.

I have a 50 minute commute and pass 6 on my way to work.I pass by 2 on my 15 min bus ride. Then I walk by two after I leave the subway for a 5 minute walk. WALK. Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry.
khomeinist Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Actually he can own both. Yeah. I know JBJ likely killed the Toronto bid. Anyway. Pass on donuts. I can eat a biegnet once a decade though.
dubleuhb Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Hmm, the owner of the Bruins who is from Buffalo wouldn't bid on the Bills because he would have to sell his NHL franchise.
Duxnutz Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Spent loads of time in Canada and liked Tim H. Shame really whenever you lose a national brand. Australia has basically given up, shame its happening to you too.
khomeinist Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 Hmm, the owner of the Bruins who is from Buffalo wouldn't bid on the Bills because he would have to sell his NHL franchise. He can become the owner of an NFL franchise. Pegula owns the Sabres, but his bid is being made with his wife. Under NFL rules, one Pegula can own the Bills while the other owns the Sabres, as is the case with Stan Kroenke, who turned over his ownership of the Blues to his son when he purchased the Rams in 2010.
TheLiquidGator Posted August 30, 2014 Posted August 30, 2014 I'm not sure what I think of you using the words "Brazilian" and "private" next to each other ... Ha! Ha!
dtrott Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Look at the bright side instead of Burger King it could have been STARBUCK,S.(hate their joe and to damn $$$$$)
Mckucci Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Yeah, Wendy's owned Tim's before.. This isn't the worst news I've heard lately!! lol.. Fortunately they are keeping the head office in Canada, so it will still be a "Canadian operated" business
riazp Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I think Justin Beiber shoudl be included in this buyout deal as well...we dont want him anymore... 3
