dicko Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 I have two pairs, although both are in yearling leather. Look equally great with jeans, chinos or suit pants. In my neck of the woods you basically never see anyone wearing boots at all... Goes back to the outback persona. RM Williams is an iconic brand here. Quite fashionable. Look after a pair of boots and they will last a decade or more. You can dress them up or down or have different sets for daily wear, going out etc. I have 5 pairs from RM Williams to Crocodile to Ostrich to Python. 1
Fuzz Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 I have a pair of boots (not RMW, though) from 1993. Been through a lot over the years, and only 6 months ago did the sole separate from the boot. I guess I could get them to re-glue a new sole on, but the leather is pretty worn, so I'm looking for a new pair now. Maybe I'll buy a pair of RMW.
tmc123 Posted August 12, 2014 Posted August 12, 2014 I have a pair for going out and a pair I wear to work which were my fathers, they look incredible after decades of service. Like all good leather products they get better the more you use them. Every young bloke should have a pair of RM boots and an RM belt. I prefer the rubber sole as the leather sole can be slippery if you wear them outdoors in wet conditions.

Awesome work boots, about half the weight and a heap cooler than the ATs, and with the same safety specs

Great boots. I wont buy any other ever again Australian Made as well

My argument is that they have the same AUNZ safety standard as steelcaps - essentially the same strength etc.

I'm hoping Oliver join other manufacturers in the future and go with Carbon Fiber caps in their newer models to make passing through airport security easie

They have a composite toecap - fibreglass/carbon fibre, same impact rating as the steel toecap
