Reevzy Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Probably CoRo for me. I've only ever smoked one, young but really enjoyed it. Seems the sort of thing I'd want to buy two boxes of for the sake of time. Oohh and a cab of SLR DC's although that may be a pipe dream
mncz Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 BHKs (pure curiousity) and anything well-aged fits this bill for me. As a new collector, I shall have to invest the time and patience required in order to reap the rewards of becoming familiar with aged puros. 1
godpheonix Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 well at the going price of the cohiba 1966 LE's, i'd say thats the box i would love to get my hands on but way too expensive at this point!! and yes the Punch 2013 LE's are way too expensive, thats why i just got myself a box of the Punch Sabrosos for about 200$ less!! and the look great!!! will wait a month before lighting one up! thanks Rob!! 1

You won't be disappointed by the Sabrosos, amazing cigar and completely under the radar. Delicate and whispy, sweet and years to run on them. 2
Boss Hog Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 The two cigars that immediately come to mind are the La Escepcion Selectos Finos and the Cohiba 1966.
cigaraholic Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 buy more but.....BHK's, Bolivar Lib's, HURR. buy any but....1966, Connie A, Monte 520, and that Punch EL.
elam370 Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Cohibas and ELs. They're just not worth the premium.
godpheonix Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 The two cigars that immediately come to mind are the La Escepcion Selectos Finos and the Cohiba 1966. well actually if you consider that La Escepcion Selectos Finos as a count of 25 sticks compared to Cohiba 1966's 10 count and that they are priced similarly per box, La Escepcion Selectos Finos is not that bad of a deal. i'd have gotten myself a box if it was'nt for the fact that any other place i ever bought cigars online...i always got caught paying the dam Canadian customs taxes!!! which are atrociously unfair!!! for a box of those, i'd end up paying probably 1000$ + the oroginal prive of the box, so well over 1500$!!!! now thats what i call insane!!!
godpheonix Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 You won't be disappointed by the Sabrosos, amazing cigar and completely under the radar. Delicate and whispy, sweet and years to run on them. thanks for the feedback CQ, now i don't know if i can wait a month anymore to light one up!! hehe
Dbone Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Yeah, Cohiba. But, it wouldn't be the same if a box of CoRo was $185. So, I'm not complaining just answering the question. It's difficult for me to justify the premium the brand commands since I don't equate the value. They're not twice as good as any other robusto. However, the third fermentation and top quality leaf does prove to be a special treat every once in a while. I'll only buy them on sale and only ones rolled out of the mother factory, if I can help it. 1
stunod Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 It's funny, as soon as I see $400 or more , I hesitate. It doesn't really mean much. I bought a box of Behike 52 & 54 from our host, but because there packed in 10's , the price was under my mental threshold and I pulled the trigger without hesitation, event though the sticks were twice as mush as my go to cigars. That's why I never get my psp's from Live From the Wharehouse. By the time I man up and decide to pull the trigger, there all gone...lol But back to the topic... Cohiba Esplenditos Monti Sublimes... My favorite..should have bought from Czar 2 weeks ago. Aaaaaaaa
SteveGriff Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Oh yeah, the Trinidad Reyes is probably a Cigar I enjoy immensely, but everytime I smoke one I feel as if I'm paying over the odds. I could be enjoying a RASCC or a Party Short and have the same party time.
jedipastor Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 I would go through a box of Behike 54s a month if they cost what they should. As it is, a box every other year will have to suffice. In general I'd also say anything in the EL or Regional programs. Others would include: CCE CoLa CoRo Sig VI Monte GE Monte 520 Monte A Monte #2 Monte Especial R&J Wide Churchill
