"I would buy more...but the price is too high"

Most of us are in the same boat. That cigar which tantalises/tickles but the price point is just out of reach to lay down a box or boxes.

For me (and yes even I have a personal budget unknown.gif ) the cigar i would lay down is the Punch Serie d'Oro No 2 LE 2013 Piramide.

I am a sucker for peanut butter in a cigar and these deliver every time. Yet the price-point as assigned by HSA/distributors etal is way too high for me. I can only get peanut butter in a few cigars but these give that in spades. $7 a stick cheaper and they would sell out. Keep them where they are and they will age in distributors warehouses until they become an aged classic.

I wouldn't spend coin on them right now but sooner or later they will be priced to move, God I hope so.

For me it's anything sold in Canada!

cigars.

Anything Cohiba really, unless I win the lottery or something, at the moment it makes more fiscal sense to buy cheaper sticks that are better bang for the buck.

MC Reserva. Each one is nubbable for me.

Davidoff NC 2000. Such a hefty price for some NCs.

LGC 2s outside of Cuba.

Cohiba.

Montecristo GR.

Lonsdales. Full stop.

Trini Robbie Extra.

All are just one email away for me... but I'd be mental to buy those in full boxes right now.

Anything Cohiba. Particularly the CCE. I love that cigar, but I'd have to think long and hard before buying another box or two. I had some 'extra money' the first time I bought some so I didn't put much thought to it, but now I can't help but think about how many more cigars of comparable quality I could have had for the same money.

I agree with Maplepie about Davidoff, I like the Nic. I like 'em, but not at the price they're asking.

Would love a few boxes of SLR Pacificos. Just can't get myself to spend that much on one box when I can buy two of something else I enjoy just as much.

With you on the Punch EL. Smoked about half a dozen from various splits and they have been outstanding but i can't bring myself to spring for a whole box. Also agree with Frank re the fundadores. My 2010s (12 count) are excellent. Not sure if I'll replace them when they are gone when I can get a cab of Epi 2 for close to the same price....

For me, I'd love to get my hands on the Cohiba Siglo II, Cohiba Robusto, Partagas 898, and Montecristo 2. Money is the problem though.

ED54, just had a box stolen from me. Looks like I have to buy one now.

Definitely. These are great, especially for a EL. I'd love a couple of boxes but the cost....

So, are you gonna put em on sale Prez?

Edit. It seems the multiquote feature has failed me. I'm referring to the Punch 2013 LE

Cohiba, certainly Behike. And more generally, once a box of churchill size sticks crosses $300-$350 I find myself pausing to think about it. The HSA program for the Aged . . . at 1.5-1.75 times current price I'd load up, at 2x it makes me think about it, not just because of price but because of logistics.

How do they compare at the moment to the Sabrosos?

I can't comment on how they compare. But I can say they are a cracker cigar

Well I recently smoked the super robusto and it was fabulous. Now I think. I want the sabrosos.

La Escepcion cigars are in that category, as we'll

As Cohiba Lanceros, and any Punch Limited or regional cigars. I wanted Punch Medalla d'oro's and Punch Platinos but are just to much for what you get. I'm a sucker for a long and skinny but just don't want to spend that much coin for them. Another is the Bolivar B2, I want to buy but they are to much money esp bring a Canadian Release.
