pbibby Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Where did that Escepcion pic come from?!?!?! My eyes..........
cigarbreak Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 I've experienced the same shpeel at a bnm here in Toronto where the girl tried to sell me some RG Perlas with spots that were clearly mold but I knew better and asked her to pick me two different ones from the box without "plume" then I said btw that's not plume but thank you anyways. I was pretty dissapointed but can't blame her as I can tell she wasn't the bnm employee-type that actually knew their stuff. Never went back again.
thecapo Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Behike 56 2012image.jpgimage.jpg No plume near foot. Best Behike I have tasted. 69f/64rh 1

cybermadhatter Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Seeing plume on cigars, even in pics, makes me smile. Seeing mold on the cigars, even in the above pics, makes me cringe, or vomit just a little
Larsy Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Here's some PLUME for you, Frank plumefosho1.jpg plumeforeals2.jpg Brings a tear to my eye
stigmata Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 theres nothing wrong with mold before it gets crazy.... usually its harmless it happens to all of us.. but its mold not plume.. LOL plume is a unicorn most of us wont see it... and if its mold its usually harmless so wipe it off... and do not freak out....!!! this must be educational for alot of us. Thanks Rob
stigmata Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 oh and sometimes its dust or dandruff..... but very rarely plume...
stigmata Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Oh in Cuba they often give cigars a blast of humidity/moisture and over prep them before they get sent off to the distributers sometimes this ends up with some of that fresh mold (white spots) sometimes it turns out as cracking of feet or a mushrooming affect on cigars. The white spots are a wiping off to remedy. The exploding feet permanent. Either way they are usually salvagable.. just dont freak out 99.999999 times out of a 100 its not going to be plume.
Smallclub Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 The two threads about plume are going nowhere. It's becoming embarassing. 1
DrunkenMonkey Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 The two threads about plume are going nowhere. It's becoming embarassing. But the going nowhere is itself educational, isn't it? 3
bigfunkyg Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 There was a gentleman who had a cabinet of Aged Bolivar Corona Extra's in the trading room at one point. The box was absolutely loaded with Plume and was probably one of the most amazing boxes I have ever seen. Unfortunately it is no longer in the forum.
Popular Post Diamondog Posted August 1, 2014 Popular Post Posted August 1, 2014 Alrighty, lets start with some '08 Monte 2's developing a nice dusting... Some '06 Libertadores 2013 CoLa (BTO) from Prez - was able to get a nice shot of the head developing nicely. Note - 3rd cigar raised area is a piece of wrapper. Some Conde 54's getting a nice coat... Some "04 subs getting dusty... 6
