Great bone in ribeye and Alaskan King Crab Legs. Excellent wine to round it off.

You just made me hungry for a big steak, headed to the butcher shop after work…

3 inch thick Prime Porterhouse.  Accompanied by one of my favorite Argentine Malbecs.

This was a pork shoulder for pulled pork I did back in September at 250f on the gas grill . It was very good; I am going to do one low and slow later this week on the Kamado Joe.

Those steak knives look legit.

Thanks, got them at La Féria de Mataderos in Buenos Aires a couple years back for a song.  Gotta sharpen them one of these days, but I don’t have stones yet, so might be a while.  Luckily the steak is tender lol.

That’s a cool back story on them.

And yes, the obvious object of your post was the steak and wine. While I’m a ribeye guy, there is something to be said about a good porterhouse. I mean, it’s almost like dinner on one side (NY strip side) and dessert (filet) on the other. Can’t go wrong with that. Just sayin.

No action on this thread for a while so I haven’t posted lately. Good thing with it popping back up because I used the KJ on the weekend for the first time since last fall.

Certified Black Angus NY Striploin aged 75 days and some fresh sausage with fennel. Even the salad was super tasty.

Wow that looks fantastic. Steak with a side of sausage, kudos!

Not the Andouille Sausage I ordered from Wayne Jacobs Smokehouse in La Place Louisiana. Should have been here by now but the town is basically under water with search and rescue missions.

After a few days of meat on the KJ, time to change it up. Great with the red wine.

Few things can beat meats and cheese with some wine.  Which cheese is that on the bottom left?
