So I'm trying to figure out the most legit LCDHs in the Caribbean Zone. I keep getting mixed answers as well as pretty much the general consensus that many of their cigars are on the shady side. Anyone out there have a good experience to share or some possibly 100% legit spots in the Caribbean zone.any help with this would be great! thanks!

Rush, (Rushman) frequents the one in Grand Cayman a lot. I would ask him, he seems to like it and he knows cigars, so it would say it's a safe bet.

Also, I've been to the one in Barbados, and as I recall it was pretty legit.

Great. Yea not much information out there except for "What can I get my husband?" kind of posts I'll definitely check these

Been to the one in Aruba. Small but nice, cigar selection average, cigar condition, poor. Their Behike's looks like someone stepped on them and put them back in the box. Going back his year, will bring my own sticks.

Love the one in St Maarten in Marigot- I've been going down there for years (12+) and know Carole, the owner, very well. Very friendly. She's definitely on the expensive side, but excellent stock for the most part. Lots of aged stuff too, especially the smaller ring gauges that aren't too popular with the cruise ship crowd. I wouldn't buy anything or anywhere else on the island, notorious for fakes.

I"ve been to the one in St. Martin in Marigot side. Prices are as expected.

I emailed you their price list.

I've been to the one in Aruba a few times as well. I'd agree with the earlier post. Small, decent shop, but the condition of their stock is pretty lacking.

My wife brought me some back from her trip to Antigua. They were legit and smoked very well.

Where did she buy them, i.e. which shop?

As far as islands go I've only been to the one here in cayman. It's a great little shop with awesome people.

Please keep the discussion to B&M retailers with no mention of online or distance sales, thanks.

I have noticed a misconception regarding LCDHs worldwide. There is no rule that says they must get their product from the local distributer, at least no rule that is enforced. I know LCDHs that don't. Obviously that increases the possibility of counterfeit goods, though doesn't necessarily mean the goods are counterfeit.

Regarding Carribean LCDHs, I met Valerio Cornale a couple of times in Havana. A genuinely nice guy with a real passion for Cuban cigars. If I happened to be in Grand Cayman, I don't think I'd have a problem trusting his stock.

The LCDH in grand cayman is top notch. The coffee is amazing and the staff are very friendly. You might find some discontinued stuff hanging around too. I had a robusto t last time I was there in February and it was amazing. Still disappointed that I didn't get to meet up with rush, but it gives me an excuse to come back!

Aruba's shops (3 owned by the same person) are generally just okay. I found the selection fine, but they kept the humidors too wet, and there was visible mold on some of the stock.

While the owner was great and knowledgable, one of her sales staff was clueless, and told me the mold was bloom. "Most of our clients prefer we wipe the bloom off the cigars"

I said yeah, because that's not bloom. It's mold. She actually rolled her eyes at me, I also found a super box of 2006 reyes in the back of a shelf behind much more current stock, and was all excited, but when we opened it, a bunch of beetles fluttered out. :(

Anyways, it's legit and the cigars selection is good, but they're not taking good enough care of them. I found the actual LCDH better than the Cigar Emporium, although as I mentioned, they are owned and managed by the same person.

I was on a cruise and we stopped at Grand Cayman, there was a shop at the port but not sure if it was a LCDH but it was small and hoped it was legit haha. I did stop at the LCDH in jamaica's port...nice shop but when i got back and in the past year I realized I over paid for Monte 4's. Mind you at the time I was a complete noob and really didnt know what I was looking for/at...now I have a much better understanding and still a noob :)

Has anyone heard of an LCDH in St Barth? I'm not seeing it on the distributors list of points of sale.

When I was there 2009 or 2010, I found it, they were closed.

It was located close to Nikki beach.
