ptrthgr8 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 It would seem that Team Brazil went to the Ryan Kessler School of Diving. Sweet. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 1
ptrthgr8 Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Everyone is too busy laughing. Well... except for the Brazilians. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
Maplepie Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Özil should have scored after 4 goals, i guess that's the biggest shame of this game
Smalls Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Yeah, I wonder what the deal with Ozil is? He hasn't really seemed like he is playing with much urgency. Just seems like he has a lackadaisical attitude about the entire tournament. He is playing for a great team that has a good chance to win the whole thing. You would think he would be fired up.
brutusthebuckeye Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Yeah, I wonder what the deal with Ozil is? I think it's cuz he's so ugly...It throws his game off...both of em!!
Armaniac Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Oh how the mighty have fallen!!! Pathetic performance by Brazil.
oliverdst Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Guys, believe me, we are having fun here in Brazil. 3x0, 4x0... we would be sad but SEVEN?!?!? Massacer. To me David Luiz is the guilty. Wrong position in all goals.
ptrthgr8 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Dude... You can't possibly blame the goalie for that loss. There was zero defense in front of him. It's hard to win when you're the only player trying to keep the Germans from scoring. That was a complete team failure on the part of Brazil. If even that Julie Newmar guy had been in the game the result would have been similar. Simply stated, Germany showed up to play and Brazil did not. End of story. ptrthgr8 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Sorry... thought Luiz was the goalie for a sec. But my main point stands. It was a team loss, not just one person's failure. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
wookiemofo Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 That was a beautiful game... The fifth goal in particular shredded their D like Swiss cheese
El Presidente Posted July 9, 2014 Author Posted July 9, 2014 Remarkable game. At this level if one team is 100% on game mentally and the other 20% off their game mentally.....you win/ lose big.
in0gravity Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Oh what a night, what a game. Still can't believe it.
subport Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 after 4 goals, i guess that's the biggest shame of this game It was after 7 actually and I wanted to see 8:0 vs 7:1 and if Özil scores ;-)
sheppsea Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I actually feel sorry for the Brazilians, the way they played they deserved to loose by that margin (and didn't deserve the goal), but I'm not sure the players will ever live it down, the 1950 team were never forgiven for loosing to Uruguay but this could go down as an even worse result Apart from Greece winning Euro 2004 I have never been so amazed by a result
CaptainQuintero Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 What Brazilian team is going to turn up to play for third place :s
CBL Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Here's hoping for a Germany - Netherlands final and Brazil - Argentina third place match. Old rooted rivalries are always more exciting!
