Skyfall Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Find the Best most Iconic clip on Youtube from the 80's and post it. Rules: 1) It has to be less than 5 minutes in length 2) Contains Awesome Sauce 3) From the 80's 4) Iconic 5) Should contain epic montage music 6) Blows minds like a hooker with ESP! I'll send a cigar out to the winner of my choosing I'll start us out strong, for the win!!!! (sweep the leg) 2
Maplepie Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 You just MADE me get my guitar for this. 10 seconds in, and I know it'll be stuck in my head for the next 10 hours! Feeling like a space brain ONE MORE TIME TONIGHT!! Represents probably my favourite (and arguably the most iconic song) from this album and the band's history. I mean, isn't this what GnR was supposed to be back when? It encompassed the true styling of Hair metal without being Hair metal: the Grunge before the Grunge that happened after Rock N' Roll. Isn't this the quintessential music that will linger on from the 80s? Ones that remain more prevalent than Huey Lewis and the News and Whitesnake COMBINED!? Arguably even more influential (but less artistic) than Stevie Ray Vaughan. And definitely lingers harder than any easy listening music churned from this decade?
Popular Post Rye Posted May 29, 2014 Popular Post Posted May 29, 2014 There's even FIST SHAKIN!! Ooo yeah, them 80's. Expo '86 in Vancouver was a blast and I must've rode the scream machine to this song a dozen times. Hell, the carnies still play this beauty! 5

gigabyte056 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Wanted to go with Thriller being the best video IMO done in the 80's and an iconic song attached to it. Had to go for second best, one of the most imaginative videos done to a song ever: 1
Jeremy Festa Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Given the demographic! Short and sharp FTW http://youtu.be/dn6wNEv7M2w From my mobile phone
