ralphie48 Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 I've only tried the superiores so I can't vote but for me it blows away the rass and the rascc
cigcars Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 The first RA Extra I tried had minus zero flavor or aroma to it. Never wanting one try to condemn a smoke, I got another one some time later. Same thing. The Ramon Superiores - YEAH! WAY TO GO! Excellent Ramon Allones familiar honeyed joy!
Lotusguy Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 Smoking an RAE right now - out-frigging-standing! I need to secure another box. I love the Superiores as well. 1
Surucipe Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I really like the RAE a lot, so far every single one I've had from my MLO SEP 11 box has been excellent. I like the Superiores as well but haven't really been wowed by yet, just a very decent cigar imo (excellent value though). 1
jp1979 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 I like them both but the nudge goes to the Supe
melies Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 Superiores, necio. Extra after a Ribeye steak
maverickdrinker Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Enjoying a Superiores tonight and these just get better with age. Wonderful flavour profile and so consistent. Will fire up a RAE tomorrow to compare... 4

Did you even TRY for that joke!?] But seriously: i actually enjoyed all three of the Extras i smoked. In fact, pairing it with a good cognac made me feel like i was smoking an NC with development. Now- i know that doesn't make people rush out to buy them - calling a 'premium' CC an NC... But it worked for me! Probably also because i went into the smoke thinking it'd be absolute shite. Did you just talk about yourself, TO yourself, in the 3rd person????? EDIT - just realized the now-passed 2-year leeway with these posts. Don't know why this just came up in my CURRENT FEED!!!! Freakin' forum upgrades!!!!! That said, it's interesting to see people's thoughts on these now, compared to "back in the day".

NSXCIGAR Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Decided to dip into a RAAE today and I must say these have basically turned into a Superiores. I recall these being a bit rougher and having quite a bit if that EL character over the years but that's now gone. Mellow, light stonefruit, lightly herbal...almost identical to a 17 Superiores I just had. I'd also suggest these RAAE are pretty much peaked, at least for the near future. I didn't sense anything budding to come out although this is a bit fruitier than I remember, so perhaps that will increase a bit more but then again, the Superiores are a bit fruitier. I don't think these are anything to hunt down. Just get the Superiores and you'll get the same experience.
