Good on them. There's an old saying along the lines of Many problems are solved over a cigar. Big Joe's penchant for stogies is no new revelation and in fact many other MP's from the govt and other parties are cigar smokers (Just look at my avatar for proof lol3.gif ).

i bet they are the kind of guys who stub out their cigars (no proof just assumption on my part)

How does this even make the news? So two pollies are enjoying a cigar.

More of it.

I'm glad it did! Anything that normalises cigar enjoyment is good exposure, I think!

From what I can tell, it hasn't legitimised cigar enjoyment at all. It's only reinforced the old 'fat cat' with the cigar perception. Media had a field day with it.

Truth is, as a CC lover I now have more respect (not that hard) for Hockey and Cormann seeing they actually enjoy something real. According to reports, most out there take the complete opposite view. Naughty, naughty tobacco enthusiasts...

What a shock.. Two human beings with a different opinion to 50% of us enjoying a cigar. They will be a having a quiet glass of wine next or playing with their kids in the

park!
