IcedCanuck Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 Last night's game most certainly did not have the outcome I was hoping for but both teams played well and it was a very exciting game to watch. Lots of back and forth between both teams. Bruins and Habs both had lots of chances. IMO Price and Rask were easily the most valuable players for each team. Looking forward to Montreal getting some payback on Saturday
ogus Posted May 11, 2014 Author Posted May 11, 2014 Could balance be restored with the force? 2 goals up in second.
JHands Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Our boys in black and gold showed up for reals tonight. Let's hope we can close this out in 6, but don't hold your breath as this series had classic 7 written all over it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
headstand Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Oh my! It will be rockin' in Bostin on Wednesday.... Go Habs.
Armaniac Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Well, one thing is for sure, game 7 will be crazy. My nerves are already shot and it's only the second round lol. Let's go Habs!!
SaintLuis Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Crushing defeat last night., Habs were on fire. B's looked flat for the first half game. One thing's for sure, I have no idea wtf is going to happen tomorrow. /bites nails.
Erm310mce Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Little Chara get's hit hard. I wonder if hockey fans will be upset at this just like the Lucic nad shot? Haven't heard anything yet, and probably the wrong guy to go after Markov! Anyway, the Bs deserved to lose that one! Flat and uninspired. I'm glad we showed some life at the end even though no one would engage them and rightfully so, canadiens had the game won. hope the Bruins bring it on Wednesday, it will be epic! It has been fun!
SaintLuis Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 No, there definitely won't be the same talk as with Lucic. Chara got a game misconduct for retaliating to getting his nuts blasted. Gonna be a barn burner tomorrow for sure.
ptrthgr8 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Classic? Maybe in the 3rd, but the first 2 periods were rife with terrible officiating. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk
Armaniac Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Gooooooooooo Haaaaaaaaaaaaaabs!! Another classic series!!
ptrthgr8 Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Where the hell were these Bruins in the first round? Detroit would have beat those guys. Dammitalltohell. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2
Erm310mce Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Wow, tough loss. Congrats to the Habs. I can't stand them, their style of play, everything about them.... But got to hand it to them, they rattled the Bruins and beat a better team. Congrats. I don't usually blame officiating but that was such a poorly called game! But, not the reason why the Bruins lost. I hope we find out later what the problem was with Krejci, like he was playing hurt, if he wasn't, he and Marchand need to be traded. Oh well, Bruins will be strong contenders next year. 1

Oh well, Bruins will be strong contenders next year. Unfortunately, Marchand was up to his old tricks and was a non factor. Much like you, I can't stand the Bruins or their style if play. I do however acknowledge that they're a relentless and superbly coached team. No lead is safe against them. I suspect Krejci is injured but Marchand just played stupid and took needless penalties. I'm worried for Julien's job after this loss. He's a good coach and shouldn't bear the brunt of this loss. One of our teams had to lose the series and it was fun going back and forth with the Bruin fans. All in good fun and hopefully one day we can have a cigar together! 1
SaintLuis Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Julien's not going anywhere. Congratulations to the Habs. They were the better team tonight and in the series. I fully expect them to romp the Rangers and vie for the Cup. 2
