Erm310mce Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Since we're posting videos about how Lucy is so tough and Subban picks and chooses his adversaries, do any of you remember this? Lucy was running away like a schoolgirl. This is Lucy's game, why was he so afraid??? I don't think he is afraid my friend, he is waiting for Subrina to drop the gloves first. luc is smart enough to know what kind of player Subrina is, he spends the whole game trying to get flop penalties. You don't drop the gloves first with a guy like that, it only sends you to the box as he skates away. In any event, all good my friend. It's a great game so far! 1

It's a crazy game. You're right it's all good bro, I just want the game to end so I can go have a cigar. 1

I'll join you for one after as well! Holy moly, tied up with 2 minutes left, I do love when these teams play each other! 1

No problem we'll spark one together. Our plans have been delayed lol!! Unbelievable! Bruins had the edge all game. Without Price this game would have been over in the first period.

Without Price this game would have been over in the first period. I do like the energy the bruins have come out with tonight. Price has played great, not many rebounds. Even still, they had Price beat at least 6 times, just unlucky with posts and missing easy opportunities. Anything can happen in overtime though!

Wow I can't believe how many chances the Bruins missed let alone the two goal posts. Enjoy the overtime.
ptrthgr8 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Montreal will riot and burn when they lose. Montreal will riot and burn when they win. Montreal is Montreal. LOL Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2
Diamondog Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Want Boston to win, but some of the fan nonsense on Twitter after game 1 was despicable..... Wonder how they feel about Big Papi....
SaintLuis Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Montreal's horseshoe won't last. Bruins, even with the worst period of the year in the 2nd, are the far superior team. You can only dodge so many bullets. http://imgur.com/a/VKCFC Saint
Armaniac Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Yup, the racial slurs against Subban after the game were pretty ugly. I wonder if the perpetrators of those comments realize that Iginla is not white. If Montreal doesn't get drawn into Boston's style of play, they will win the series.
Armaniac Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Good honest write from a Boston journalist on the upcoming series. http://boston.cbslocal.com/2014/04/30/hurley-bruins-canadiens-guaranteed-to-get-ugly/

mk05 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 This series is always entertaining. Everybody wants it. Too bad I don't care for the Bruins. I wouldn't call Boston Bruins "goon hockey," but certainly the post-Thorton Bruins ruined modern hockey for me completely.

If Montreal doesn't get drawn into Boston's style of play, they will win the series. That was embarrassing for Bostonians. Total classless fans. I am no fan of Subban, as you know, but it's about how he handles himself on the ice, going to the racial comments really makes me sad that in this day and age we still deal with this stuff. I do disagree with your comment about Montreal getting drawn into the Boston style. To me, the game was dominated by Boston all night, we got so unlucky with so many opportunities, could have easily put up 6 to 7 goals, had Price beaten so many times. That luck will run out for Montreal and the puck will start going in the right direction, if we get that many opportunities to score in this series, it will be over quickly. That's the silver lining to to loss last night or that is what I'm telling myself today to make me feel better! Lol 1

Colt45 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 That was embarrassing for Bostonians. boston born and bred not cambridge, not brookline, not quincy, not revere boston racist keyboard warriors from who knows where use any excuse to spew their venom the internet is rife no embarrassment to me i won't fuel their fire
zathan Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Just heard an interview with Goerge Laraque. He said that throughout the years, he played many games in Boston, he was hated of course but he never heard a single racist word from the fans. His opinion is that the twitter comments weren't from fans but from rednecks that simply jumped on the opportunity.
Briand Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Anyone who feel the need to toss term around like monkey n.....r or jigaboo is to stupid to waste my breath fighting with. As i grew older I find enough reason to dislike people that skin color and who you sleep with be the reasons to hate. ( unless you try a bang my wife) I am still shocked that in this day and age there are still some folks who are racist. The best part of the web is we know truly live in a global world. It is always funny to me how bad ass people are while hiding online . But if they where in a bar or where a fight broke out they be the first to duck and hide
mgravito Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 As a Bostonian and a Bruins fan, those tweets were despicable. It's a shame, as progressive as our city has become, these pockets of idiots still exist. It's really embarrassing. We have this image as a racist place and every once in a while, some moron decides to perpetuate that stereotype. 1

I wonder if the perpetrators of those comments realize that Iginla is not white. If Montreal doesn't get drawn into Boston's style of play, they will win the series. Also wonder if those "fans" know that Boston rostered the first African-American NHL player, Willie O'Ree or (ironically) have Malcom Subban....PK's brother....in their system? I think there is something to your last sentence here. The Bruins can have that effect and use it masterfully. An interesting quote from an interview with Mike Babcock, "I just think you’ve got to decide what you want to do,’’ said Babcock. “Do you want to play like them or play like us? I just looked at the sheet here and we had one, two, three, four roughing calls. We haven’t had four roughing calls this year. So you’ve got to do what you do, not what they do."
ptrthgr8 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Much ado about nothing. Any idiot with an internet connection can get a Twitter account. So the bar isn't exactly set very high to begin with. And idiots abound. So... pay them no attention. Keep calm and Bergeron. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 1
