Boston was always my distant #2 favorite team. I was never a "fan" of Boston since I feel you can really only be a true fan of one team (I bleed red and white), but I definitely liked their gritty style of play and skill in general. And it helped that Boston was in the other conference.

And then along came this season.

After seeing first hand what a thoroughly DB-ish team Boston can be at times (sticks to the nads, Lucic? Really? What are you? 12?) I am absolutely rooting against them for the remainder of existence. The Bruins may very well win the Cup this year (hard to really see anyone beating them in a 7 game series if they keep playing like they have), but I will never root for them again. Well... unless they're playing Cindy & Co.

So... I guess I'll be rooting for the Habs in the next round.

Cheers,

The best part of the stick to the balls was after when he looks around to see if anyone saw him do it. Hello dumby you not in pee wee in the BC coast league. You playing in a full nhl building and in front of 130 tv cameras.

"heart" or hate

They are the team who will be knocked out of the next round of the playoffs by the Habs

No sir, I did not spell it correctly. I would be a terrible person if I disliked an entire country of people because of one classles organization. My mistake.wink.png

And to continue this friendly discus ...

Only the most classy player of Boston Bruins would show a mid finger to the crowd of fans (Hello, Mr Ference) or throw a bottle into the crowd (Hello, Mr Horton)! This action is a definition of classiness!

Or maybe classy captain, Mr Chara, would like to insist he did not intend to hurt (or kill) Mr Pacioretty?

Of course, don't we forget Mr Lucic's classy spearing two different players from two different teams during last 3 weeks.

Sure, our Habs are not such "classy" players ;)

Maybe because Commissioner's Campell son does not play for our team.

Maybe the Montreal fans will dial 911 again to have chara arrested. What a joke!

Mr Pacioretty is no lady byng candidate.

You are right, the Lady Byng candidates are Marleau, O'Reilly and St. Louis. Not even one of the 3!

Boston fans have always been claiming a conspiracy against their team by the NHL. They always claimed the Canadiens recieved favortism from the officials.

What really happened was Harry Sinden, cheap bastard GM for like 25-30 years, struggled to put together a decent team, by not paying his stars, or trading them. He put the blame on everyone else expect Bruins management.

Look at the difference Chiarelli made since being nominated GM. With Neely as President, him and Chiarelli finally put some pride back into the Bruins.

Of course all the penalaties called against the Bruins are B.S. !?!

So stop whining and play hockey.

Huge Bs fan here, but didn't like the Lucic stick to the nads. He's not typically like that. Marchand is the a-hole on the team to hate. Not Chara (the pacioretty hit wasn't intent to injure, just an unfortunate part of a fast and physical game) or lucic. They're both great stand up players. Gonna be a great series. One for the ages.

Strongly agree with everything here! As a huge bruins fan, I don't know another Bs fan that appreciates Marchand's behavior. I think we all would like him to shut his mouth, stop the chippy play and just skate.

I was happy with Lucic admitting that the stick to the nads was a mistake and something in the heat of the moment.

This rivalry is so heated and probably the most intense in Boston sports. You have the Hab fans thinking the bruins are dirty players. The Boston fans think the Habs are a bunch of ballerinas.... And it leads to such intense games.

One thing for sure, neither side can count the other out, we have seen to much good hockey between them. No one has this locked up by any stretch. It has the makings to be the best one yet.

Thursday night will be awesome!

192 penalty minutes. Campbell and Boychuck at the end - awesome.

Remember it like yesterday, Boychuck is tough, no doubt. Subban would never throw a punch with Lucic. He would rather take his chances with the small guys like Marchand. And still not win :)

In all honesty, I think the Bruins have a better team at the moment and Rask has been extremely solid during first round which is my biggest concern. Habs can play defensively and keep the opponent from crossing the red line as good as the Bruins do it but if Boston starts playing physical, Mtl would get hurt. That being said, the Bruin's defence isn't the quickest to move around so we might get by with speed.

We all love to hate to opposing team in this series and it will be exciting to watch. May the best team win, my heart goes to the Habs of course but the way they play the West so far, I think this is where the cup will end up.

Wow

Canadiens looking fast. Hope Bruins adjust quickly.

The nhl playoffs often can come down to a hot goalie. If Price can out play Rask the habs should win. But we as fans are the winners if the series goes long. I need a game 6 as I have tickets if it goes that far

Since we're posting videos about how Lucy is so tough and Subban picks and chooses his adversaries, do any of you remember this? Lucy was running away like a schoolgirl. This is Lucy's game, why was he so afraid??? sneaky.gif

Shlomo, I don't think you're referring to me but I just want to go on record and say, I'm not angry, just having fun. Yes I'm a huge Hab fan. If they lose however, so be it. Believe me there are more important things in life than getting upset when a bunch of overpaid people lose while playing a game. One of those more important things is, where do I get my hands on a box of Punch Super Selection #2's for a good price! That said, may the best team win. peace.gif

Not referring to you or any single person. Just Habs fans in general are very obnoxious.

Punch SS2 for a good price? If you find any, let me know. What do you consider a good price?
