TM-US Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Drank some Balcones single malt tonight. Very malty on the nose, palate and finish. Reminded me of a malty Mortlach, although there is no sherry cask involved. Definitely not bourbon like, IMO. I liked it, but I'm not sure if I would stock up. It was as yeasty and malty as Old Portrero Rye, just without the rye spice. 1
