h.upmann mag46/duty free/specific box code

Hey Gent's

I'm going to frankfurt and munich airport next month. I'd like to pick up mag46 boxes because going through my last box (upe abr 13) now. Would rate that pe+. I know duty frees are loaded with reg productions. Quality is at high risk. Are there any specific box code to look for?

In the past I had extreme luck with psd4 and monte 4 airport stuff (smo mar12, osr nov 11, osr mar 12) but never bought mag 46 there.

Any input appreciated. Thanks a lot.

Inspect and check with your eyes your fingers and your nose rather than relying on box codes…

Why take the chance of picking up a sub par box.. There's mag 46 in the hand picked section. Just a idea.

You're assuming the OP is incapable to choose a box in a shop? Nice...

I'm affraid no, I am not allowed to open any boxes there. Wouldn't be brainer then.

Well we're still in a working progress to try to get through the shipping from our host to here.

Because I am going to travel I thought I could pick up some boxes and worry no longer with the customs in that case.

Are you sure of that? That's unusual... In this case, you should buy a less popular reference, ie Connoisseur No.1 if you want a Upmann

Nope, not sure. But I cannot recall any open boxes at any airports though. Well, I'll see, thx anyway

I remember someone mentioned he was opening boxes to find a good one at some airport while checking on security in the shop. Maybe that, haha

I buy at Duty Free in HKG all the time and they let me open, sniff and fondle to my heart's delight! It's a necessity too, because some of those boxes have had a rough life. If I find a good box of tubos with one bad stick or two they'll let me swap those out for sticks from another box. Surprisingly, they put the defective cigar with the split wrapper back in a tubo and it goes back in a box for sale!

So best to eyeball that Duty Free ****!

Hm, never had open seals in dutyfree europe. Well okay, I saw one cr@py box of cohiba secretos opened in London, cracked wrappers, dry cigars, no oils who whould pick that up

hi guys, any update on good box codes for mag 46's from 2013/2014.... asking my wife to pick some up from the airport and she wont have a clue even though you can open boxes at the duty free safer to ask her to look for a code..... any help would be greatly appreciated....

The GEO ENE 14 I got from Prez are outstanding. They have super dark, oily wrappers.
