CaptainQuintero Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I think a great piece is one from Sir Pigster years ago, avoid cigar gurus! The most fun you can have and the most valuable information you can get will come from you putting fire to a cigar. Tips for improving draw or cutting and other practical advice is great but when it comes down to what is a "good" cigar, no one can tell you what you will enjoy. Try as much as you can and keep an open mind to every cigar out there regardless of country, marca, size, factory code, hype, disparagement etcetera etcetera 2
DrunkenMonkey Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 I agree with Smallclub ... Just try the different methods others here posted and see what works for you .. I use my nail to cut the cap off .... Jimmy, how exactly does that work? Do you just pry off between the caps?
Laxman Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Never used a punch cut before may have to look into it.
Jimmy2 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 I just punch a small circle with my nail inside of the cap ...Rob taught me that about 8 years ago when I meet him and it works for me .. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
shlomo Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 If I am not mistaken, most Cuban locals use teeth or nail to cut the cap. Very few, if any, use a cutter.
