El Presidente
Wrapper shades vary as we all know. Technically from Claro to Oscuro. I haven't got a colour chart handy (not in the office) but it goes along the line of Claro Colorado Colorado Rosado Colorado Maduro Maduro Oscuro *(if someone has one handy, please post it up) My question is take your favourite cigar. Actually your favourite "go to" cigar as you need to be familiar with it. You would have had this many many times and no doubt with different wrapper shade. Which has been your favourite wrapper shade with your "Go To" cigar? Use the Poll but let us know in a reply the cigar and wrapper shade. Naturally we are assuming all else being equal (construction/blend).

Maplepie
Before, my go to cigar was a Siglo III with at least 2 years of age on it. Never have i had anything lighter than Colorado Rosado/Claro on these ones. But now, i'm almost converting to the H. Upmann Connoisseur As. I've only had samples from 2 boxes though... But if they keep up with this consistency, they will be my new go-to cigar. These are great even when young which is the only reason why they will score a tad higher than the Siglo IIIs in my book. Both have somewhat remained steady at Colorado-Claro and nary a one would pass for being Colorado or darker,
Munts
And to answer Prez I would say I would go for Colorado Claro.
Diamondog
Colorado Colorado Maduro Aesthetically like the darker wrappers
fookite
Oscuro, of course, being Spanish for "dipped in dye."
Fuzz
Personally, I prefer either Colorado Maduro or Colorado Claro. Just found this pic:
Rye
I have found all my favorites have been Claro to Colorado. I love the light coloured oily or satin textured wrappers. I've had my share of tasty Colorado-maduro sticks tho!
PuffDaddie
I Love the Colorado.

coug28
Gimmie a never ending box of Colorado rosado/claro Upmann 2s and I'd never need another pyramide again. Also I've never once had a Cohiba darker than Colorado that I've been fond of. Some blends just don't suit my palate with the darker, usually earthier, wrappers. Cohiba is one of those. KoreanCowboy
Maduro for me all the way. Oscuro next. I just love the sweetness of the darker wrappers.
Stanislaw
Most cigars I enjoy are Colorado claro.... Not that I pay attention to it honestly..... I don't like green, like white owl green (my first cigar ever) have some bad memories of green cigars....

vivalanation734
Colorado Maduro or darker on any RA or Bolivar and I'm sold! Montes should be maduro IMHO
poorman
Voted colorado as colorado claro was not an option. Colorado claro seems to be the most flavorful for me.
Surucipe
It really very much depends on which cigar, e.g. the recent Epi 2's with the darker wrapper, tending to colorado maduro are terrific imo. On the other hand when I buy a Cohiba I like to see a lighter wrapper, something more colorado claro like. I also really like the RA Extra and these are even on the darker side of colorado maduro (at least my box is).
subport
Anything from colorado claro to oscuro. Enjoyed some others as well of course but if only one...gotta be maduro for me
Armaniac
Personally, I prefer either Colorado Maduro or Colorado Claro. Just found this pic: Based on this colour chart, anything from Colorado Claro to Colorada Maduro with the Colorado Maduro being my favourite. Especially in a Monte PE! ayepatz
VR Famoso is my current go to. Best with a Colorado wrapper, but weirdly, the first couple I ever tried, and which made me love the Famoso, were much a much lighter Claro.
Colt45
Claro to colorado claro, smooth and silky.
foreese
I'm working through my second box of Boli PC this winter and the first was Colorado Maduro, the current box is Claro. Both equally good.
fingerburner
Claro to Colorado seems to hit my flavour zone best. Dont mind slightly darker in mid-winter months.
