leftimatic Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 90 - 105 minutes indoors. 60 - 90 outdoors. some of u smoke very quickly! With yah on that one. I can drag a petit corona out for an hour and a half. I need to set aside at least 2 hours for a Churchill or double corona. Any quicker and I would feel I was ripping myself off.
shlomo Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 15-20 mins if im smoking outside. Indoors 30 mins 15 minutes?!!
cassius Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 45 minutes outside, an hour inside is mostly my range.
earthson Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 It really depends on the smoke as some are nice and dense (like me) and others are loose and airy (again, like me). Seem to average about 90 minutes, though. Now who voted for 15 minutes!? Doesn't that give you the spins???
NweakO Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 HUHC takes me an hour to smoke, how can any any one finish a robusto in 15 min
jsummers157 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Used to smoke much faster but in the last few years, have slowed down a bit so now the average robusto takes between an hour and an hour and 15 minutes
teamrandr Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I knew I was a slow smoker lol! I can make a robusto last 1 and a half to two hours!
Fosgate Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 For me about 75 minutes. Try to take my time and enjoy. Usuall at least a minute between puffs. Learned the hard way to puff slower with a little nic poisoning.....not fun Happened to a friend of mine and now he can't smoke cigars anymore. It's kind of like vomiting from something but you can never eat or drink that item that made you sick again. You can see he wishes he could still smoke cigars and he has tried a couple times since but he can only get a couple puffs in and he has to hand it off. He thinks he did it to himself by being one of those 30 min smokers and then he tried to smoke a full flavor the same way and got sick. 1
PigFish Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 ... how about, how long does it take to smoke a box of the tasteless creatures? I have had my last box of Cohiba Robustos for over a decade, and not looking forward to getting any more anytime soon... I smoked one of these super-ELs/REs yesterday, a gift from a friend. Damn thing was tasteless as virgin toilet paper! I'll tell you what... Whether it is 10 minutes, or 75 minutes, it is smoking time wasted!!! Give me a PC over one of these anytime. (Don't say it, "why do they let this guy out of the humidor forum...? I am still wondering about that myself!) Cheers! -Piggy
Havanaaddict Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I would say 30 to 40 min. Unless it is something special like a vintage stick... than I will sip it so make it last as long as I can maybe 1 hour!!!
Waldschrat Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Mostly more than an hour (rather 75min) after 2 years of deliberate practice (a golf mate once gave me the advice to "slow down and enjoy the additional distance" - I would say for cigars it is "slow down and enjoy the additional flavor")
phlee Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Ranges from 45m to 90m for me, depending on how much I am enjoying the cigar
ralphie48 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 About 1:00 to 1:15 I don't light one if I don't have to time to smoke at a slower pace
Boosted Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 The fastest I'll smoke a Robusto is 90 minutes. It usually takes me 105 to 120 minutes though.
RWhiz Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 Last two CC robustos I smoked took almost an hour exactly, a RASS and a Boli RC. Both I put down just after the band line.
Kyoung Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 30 minutes!? Takes a touch over an hour for me just about every time. Can't wait to hear these "comments" rob is going to reveal.
Pariah89 Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I'm a slow smoker, so an hour and a half to 2 hours for me.
Scrubber Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 Between 1 and 1 1/2 hours. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
