Fayt Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 1h - 1h15m nowadays, when i first started smoking probably bout 30mins where my buddy kept telling me i smoked too fast... but i'm a cigarette smoker too...
malba2366 Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 About 1hr 15mins...I don't really buy larger cigars because it is very hard for me to get anymore time than that to myself!
CigarDarr111 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Someone actually posted 15min..... smokin that thing like its stolen.. yikes.
JohnS Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I try to slow down through the second and third thirds, as I find my initial draws on the first third has me rushing this type of cigar to savor the flavours. I reckon an 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, but I always aim for 1 and 1/2 hours.
Fuzz Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I reckon an 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes, but I always aim for 1 and 1/2 hours. I call shenanigans!!! 2
JohnS Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I call shenanigans!!! Ok...closer to an hour. I slow down gradually with every cigar! I try hard but too many flavoursome smokes lately!
Hunter1974 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 45 min to an hour for me 30 min would be hot boxing like hell
wabashcr Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Voted 1 hr 15. I've often lit robustos thinking I have exactly an hour to smoke, and always end up rushing through the last 3rd. If I truly take my time and smoke at the pace I'd prefer, it could usually stretch to an hour and a half.
Carts Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I've often lit robustos thinking I have exactly an hour to smoke, and always end up rushing through the last 3rd. Funny you mention that. I thought I was a decent paced smoker but I recently had heaters installed in my smoking lounge that are on a time. The max time you can set is 60 minutes and I've come to realize that anything over a corona has me standing up to restart the heaters
Quint Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 I'm in the 1 1/2 hr time frame I like to really take my time if I have it. Plus if it's a really good smoke I'm one of those guys who needs a roach clip to finish it.
peterk814 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 15-20 mins if im smoking outside. Indoors 30 mins
Zedman05 Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Typically 1 hour 30 mins- 1 hour 45 mins But this is based on smoking alome at home. With friends, in a social setting where I am not putting the cigar down, due to talking and not wanting to pick it up from the ashtray every time like at home, then probably 1 hour - 1 hour 15 mins. Cigar F^iend
ToothlessCog Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 My last one was about 90 min. Time is irrelevant though when enjoying it with good company!
omartout Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 over an hour, between 1:15 and 1:30. I tend to smoke while working on stuff so I puff and put down a lot. I can probably stretched it out a little longer.
fabes Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 Same as above ^^ When properly filled, I almost always land around 1:20 - 1:30
dtrott Posted March 18, 2015 Posted March 18, 2015 Probably 45min to an hour depending on where I am.At my local B&M its closer to an hour
TCContender Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 It really depends on the smoke, higher rh typically means a longer smoke for me (not even counting relights). Also, if the cigar is lousy, I will tend to burn through it faster to get it over with, a rarity with CCs but not uncommon with NCs.
