PapaDisco Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Now if only Montecristo would make the Number 2 in a Petit size . . .
crasmith Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Now if only Montecristo would make the Number 2 in a Petit size . . . LOL!
KoreanCowboy Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Ugh. They should just make coronas and Churchills. Well, add the lancero too. I just dislike paying the $12 for a 30 minute smoke.
oliverdst Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I don't agree but if this is the official position of Habanos... The future is cigarrillos.
GnarlyEggs Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 15 minutes to smoke a d6? I would hope they last longer than that!
SerieT Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 where are they getting their information from? especially Luis Sanchez-Harguindey? who here likes short fat cigars? just mind boggling
Lotusguy Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 15 minutes to smoke a d6? I would hope they last longer than that! Yeah! A HUHC lasts me 40 minutes... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1
jayceskinner Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Yeah! A HUHC lasts me 40 minutes... x2. Maybe 15 minutes is how long they smoked before tossing the cigar. Bad omen for the D6?
PapaDisco Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Yeah! A HUHC lasts me 40 minutes... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Hey LG, You know you're supposed to light one end right? Not just suck on it . . .
MontrealRon Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Might a shortage of decent larger wrapper leaf also have some impact here? Atfer all, when one only has lemons, the best product to sell is lemonade.
Lotusguy Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Hey LG, You know you're supposed to light one end right? Not just suck on it . . . Wait - you're not supposed to just chew it??? I've made a huge mistake! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1
CaptainQuintero Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Wait - you're not supposed to just chew it??? I've made a huge mistake! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk You think you've made a mistake? I thought they were suppositories :S 3
BrotherBear Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 I believe this has more to do with a wrapper leaf shortage than actual market research... Lemonade from lemons.
Maplepie Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Yeah! A HUHC lasts me 40 minutes... Mine last on average: one hour. No idea how you blokes smoke... but I take savouring, long lasting puffs! but honestly, I thought it would've taken me 45 max and that just didn't happen the first time. Shame as I had to put them out early Sent from my BlackBerry Q10 using Tapatalk for Android.
OkieJoe Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I like options. PCs for the drive to work. Robustos for the drive home. Churchills for basketball games. Quinteros for mowing the yard. Behikes when im winning the lottery. 2
Smallclub Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I believe this has more to do with a wrapper leaf shortage than actual market research... Lemonade from lemons. I don't think so. They might have a problem with larger leaves for large vitolas (an issue evoked by El Presidente a few days ago), but I don't believe the wrapper leaves for petits robustos, petits edmundos, magicos, etc. are different from those used for standard robustos/hermosos4; they're just cut to the size…
Guest Robo Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 I believe this has more to do with a wrapper leaf shortage than actual market research... Lemonade from lemons. I don't think so. If Tabacuba is constrained by short filler leaves then the only way to get a cigar with a larger weight is to increase the ring gauge. For example, the Trinidad Vigia is the same weight as a Dalia, however they cannot make a Trinidad Dalia because of the shortage of long filler leaves. The D6 is the same weight as a Laguito #2. Just a thought.
