MaxHabana Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Just smoked 3 of RASCC 2013 Box. I tried this between break time. For a short smoke, this is incredible for me, and price is affordable. I taste a strong hint of coffee. The taste is stable until the last 3/3. Medium, and enjoyable for retrohaling! Drawing for 2 sticks were perfect, 1 was a bit hard. Burnt is even. As a younger brother of It's big brother RASS, this is worth to try. Please share your opinion so I'll learn more! Thank you guys! 1
MaxHabana Posted March 1, 2014 Author Posted March 1, 2014 I was pairing it with Johnnie Walker Double Black, not bad!
Carpenter69 Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 I easily smoke a box a month. Great ride to and from work cigar. So much taste for such a little cigar. 1
oliverchang514 Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 love this cigar, but can't seem to get my hands on any stock lately.. RASS taste similar to this? 1
p4gtr Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 I believe I had one of these and loved it. Got a pic? Now i'm curious if it was...
zmancbr Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 The 2012s are serious ROCKSTARS and I can't get enough of them. So far the 2013s are pretty decent as well. The RASS while similar isn't quite the same. I would describe the RASCC as a little firecracker of flavor that smokes awesome fresh. While the RASS is a tad harsh when fresh, for me anyway, but when aged turn into a refined elegant cigar. They are both RA at heart, but different personalities for sure.

earthson Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 Gotta love these. Nowhere near as artful as the SS, but will do in a pinch!
SaintLuis Posted March 12, 2014 Posted March 12, 2014 love this cigar, but can't seem to get my hands on any stock lately.. RASS taste similar to this? RASS takes way longer to be smoke ready, but when they are, definitely some similar flavors. My last RASCC box (dwindling) was young, and fantastic. My last RASS box took a year to be good. Ditto on getting my hands on them. They're a pain in the ass to get. I'm waiting for inventories to show them, and then I'll pounce.
Knilas Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Only smoked two so far and they were both yummy! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
hebbe72 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Totally agree that it is a great winter cigar. Packed with flavours for its size. If you have the opportunity, try the RA belvederes. Machine made, but a really great smoke. The ones out there are from 2002, but have aged really well despite being machine made. 1
Optic101 Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 They are great. Had one the other doing some office work. It feels very tight to the touch and was also a bit tight with the draw. But great, smooth cream ... and it lasted 1 and a half hour, yes 1hr. 30 min without any relight or correction.
Knilas Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 One fine smoke, indeed! Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

cns187 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Looking forward to my very first box of these. Went in blind because heard nothing but great things about them.
IPORTER Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 smahing short smoke. Bursting with flavours!! Agree with the prominant coffee/mocca taste........a cracker!
scottdurand Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Although a lot of ppl feel the ultimate short smoke flavor bomb is the Partagas short I agree the RASCC is hard to beat. I have some from 12 that just don't stop with the flavors. 2

Yes the tobacco is older Cuban terroir But because these were MM, the draw is hit and miss on these boxes. After struggling with a few, I now always poke two holes in them, one from each end. This usually solves the draw issues. The RASCC is on my daily smoke list and much more reliable, but also more expensive, for a full flavored short stick. The P Short needs a long time to come on song, but when they do they are just unbeatable imo
sheppsea Posted July 16, 2014 Posted July 16, 2014 I agree - I love the RASSC, although for a short smoke I prefer the Trini Reyes even though its more expensive I do find them different to the RASS though (which is my favourite regular production)
airtrade Posted July 20, 2014 Posted July 20, 2014 First one today, very smooth cocoa and mocha flavor with some herbal bits I think. Smoked it till it bunt my fingers!
