MC4
I think it was just a matter of time where HabanoSA would release a 58 ring gauge cigar. It's 58 x 127mm. How do you guys feel about this release? I want to pass on this as this is a jawbreaker of a cigar when it becomes available, but at the same time don't want to miss the opportunity to try it. How do you guys feel about this release?
Bclass1
Thought it was a 55 rg... I'm now not as interested as I'm not crazy about the larger rg trend
Orion21
Everything I have seen says it's 55rg, which is still lame. It's basically a wide churchill with .1 less length to it.
Rye
This is creeping awfully close to the 6X60 mark. I will try one
Profmd
Size is getting a little big. Have had RG that big before, but it's getting a bit much. Certainly nervous about hearing the price!! I'm sure they will be quite pricey.

MC4
I also thought it's 55 rg and may be wrong about the 58rg size, but one of the sources from England reported the 58 rg on facebook.

Puros Y Vino
The dimensions are borderline NC ridiculous. However. If it even smokes as well as the 1966 did, I'm going to grab a "few"
Orion21
At 5 inches long it if it is good, it will provide the same consternation of the BHK 52. It's great, but too short.
cigaraholic
I'll get one for my car, in case I run out of road flares....
Vortigan
A little bit beyond the pale for me size wise but that's a moot point cos it'll be way out of my league price wise!

Rye
According to all sources I have come across it is supposed to be 55x127. I've seen both sizes reported from good sources, but it seems that HSA website and friends at the festival are calling it 58rg.
bogglor
I am holding out hope that these will be as good as the 1966s were, but that is a high water mark to set. They are pushing the envelope with the 55 ring gauge and I suspect we're probably a year or so away from seeing the first 60 ring from Habanos - it's what's the rage in the American market (though personally I don't see why). I just hope they aren't priced as prohibitively as expected.

I see, well if it is indeed 58 RG it is getting out of hand. I love Cohiba and was truly looking forward to this one when the rumor list was posted few months back. I enjoy BHK54 but a 58 robusto turns me off...will see how I feel about it when I see it in my hand!

Popular Post CaptainQuintero
The only way to change it is not buy, if it's a ten count box, singles still add up. It might be a great tasting cigars but the size is just too big for me to enjoy, it's like drinking champagne out of a bucket! The releases will keep getting bigger as they keep selling. The Last Skinny EL was the trinidad ingenios? boxes still gathering dust so HSA are only responding to what sells. Vote with your wallet! Price point, I'm guessing it will be 1 of these or 4/5 RASS/QDO corona etc so personally the value for money issue is a non starter. I checked on a 2013 50 cab of rass today, it smelt like walking into a chocolate shop. Given the choice of 50 of these or 10 Ron Jeremy's, I know where my doshis going!

Orion21
I hope the blends is good for those who even care. I have big cigars that are amazing (SCDLH O'Reilly, Flying Pig) and some that are just average. I won't be buying these because of the size. Great cigar or not you will be paying a minimum or $25 duty free for these. I wouldn't be surprised if the retail is $299 for a box of 10.
Zigatoh
I have no issue with the size really, nothing wrong with a Nub or similar once in a while, though my favourite size is a dalias/lonsdale, and over 60 is crazy I just really, really hate that stupid gaudy band!!
