USA Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 And at the end a very fine smoke. This cigar is really faboulos. At the beginneing it has a distinguished deep an broad flavour. Very sweet an silky, som hints of chocolate, After the first third it turns to bread crust, sandalwood, licorice, changing to a dark, strong ristretto coffee. It has a huge load of nicotine - definitively not a cigar for a beginner. After the 2nd third it turns to a sweet aroma again and ends in a very dark strong coffee. Just great to shout hallelujah! 3

LLC Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Awesome Humidors . I saw these being made last fall in Havana and was looking at one at the LCDH in Montreal last month. Still thinking .... 1

jacktarnold Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 I stand in awe and amazement. This is one amazing collection.
Puros Y Vino Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Just unreal. So glad you did a review of the cigar too! If that cigar is strong that's a good sign for it's aging potential. And what a better place to age than in a gorgeous humidor. Thanks!
USA Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 As promised, the next book within a week. It's the Book from Partagas. Released 2002, only 300 pcs were made and existing worldwide. The cigar in the book is a Serie C No 1 (48 x 170mm). 1
USA Posted April 20, 2014 Author Posted April 20, 2014 And as a tradition, here follows the booklet - enjoy! 2

CanuckSARTech Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Wow thanks for showing these inserts, they are something most of us would never have the chance to read or see. Thanks again! I'm loving the scans of the booklets, which is something I haven't seen anywhere else. Agreed. Thanks very much for sharing these booklet scans, USA - much appreciated.

Love that ashtray as well!!!! Very cool design.
CaptainQuintero Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 I got a gift yesterday from a friend, two cigars from Burma. They are a little bit lager than a Partagas D4. Has anyone smoked such one, how was the experience? Banana leaf? I know some countries around there traditionally use it as a wrapper or filler. I've never had the chance to smoke anything with banana leaf in its construction but I've come across a few people who have. They aren't as bad as someone might automatically think! 1
