galtline Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 A few weeks back I was ripping on this cigar. I have had mine for about 2 months now and I tired one the other night. Fantastic Smoke for the $$$. WOOW
Rye Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I still haven't met one I've liked. Maybe they've been duds
MontrealRon Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Nothing fancy, no complexity, but plenty of character. A unique blend, with enormous depth of body and rich bass notes, most evident in a well aged Breva. Love 'em or hate 'em, they will not leave you bored.
CaptainQuintero Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I still haven't met one I've liked. Maybe they've been duds Fresh panetelas, so sweet! Just rich creamy/milky fresh cut grass. That sweet lushness that hangs in the air after cutting really green and vibrant grass. The rest of the line doesn't do much for me apart from the favoritos though.

Well that sure paints a pretty picture! Based on that, I will toss one in my bag next I'm at my local!
Stogieninja Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Gonna have to try the panatelas. I like the Favoritos as a yard gar
galtline Posted February 24, 2014 Author Posted February 24, 2014 Favorito is the one I have. Again it's no partagas but it's not bad at all.
Smallclub Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Favoritos is surprisingly round and sweet. But again, IMHO cheapos are having their glory days. 1
kwsaw63 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Personally I like the Nacionales. My first box purchase and still a staple in my humi.
fingerburner Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Never been on my radar to be honest, but perhaps it's me that's missing out... Cheers! Love hearing about "Off Broadway" cigars that are pleasing others.
ksblazer Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 They were never on my radar either until about a year ago Now I enjoy the Brevas and the Favoritos.
2tall2slow2 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Loving the Favoritos I've got as well. Cracking for the price.
Stevieboy Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Love the Favorito too especially at the Spanish price I paid for 25... around E75 IIRC
subport Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Only tried Brevas. Did not like them young at all. But after some sleep revisited and was absolutely good. Not great but good. You get what you pay for.
DrunkenMonkey Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Bought a box of the favoritos when the Prez offered them as part of the C&C 2-box deal along with a box of PL Montecarlos. I've only had one of the quinteros so far, but that one had a too-easy draw, and I think the flavors may have suffered from that. I'm hoping the other 24 are better.
