ayepatz Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Hello chaps. My name's Iain, and I'm a Scottish opera singer based in Godalming, Surrey, UK. I'm currently sitting in my shed, post-show with one of my go-to Vegas Robaina Famosos (after a bit of a rough San Cristobal La Fuerza) and a glass of port, laughing along with some of Rob and Ken's reviews on YouTube, which was where I first heard of FOH. While I've been smoking cigars on and off for a few years now (I've even enjoyed a Co-Ro overlooking the river in Melbourne), I've only starting getting a bit more serious about them in the last year. Prior to this, I was just picking up odd 3s of this and that as I passed through various airports, and sticking them in my wine fridge until I got a chance to smoke them. Last year, my lovely lady very kindly bought me a humidor for my birthday (she evidently reckons cigars are a lot safer than motorbikes), and I've been trying out all sorts of stuff to decide what to store. At the mo, I've got the remains of a box of the aforesaid Famosos, and a box of Don Alejandros in there, along with a couple of Monte 2s, some R&J Wide Churchills, an assortment of Cohibas, and the odd Hoyo Epi 2. Oh, and a San Cristobal El Morro that a mate recommended. So I'm still very much a starter, and I look forward to getting to know you guys, and learning a bit more about all things Habanos. ayepatz Posted February 25, 2014 Author Posted February 25, 2014 I was working, fingerburner. Was the soloist in the Aussie premiere of Shostakovich 13 with MSO a few years ago. Loved it. Great town and lovely people. Hell of a band, too!
