I am looking for a cigar at stock for my brother. It should be an every day smoke for round about one hour. Not strong, medium bodied would be better but it must have aroma.

Which one do you recommend?

It should be a:

Corona Gorda

Hermosos No 4

Robusto

Campana

Please tell me which brand and type you would recommend to buy?

I would ask your brother what he likes to smoke, and get those.

Otherwise you will get every possible version of answer, and not just in the vitolas listed.

Upmann conni #1

J Lopez #1

Choix

RyJ #4

Any idea what he has smoked and liked so far? You know, in case he's one of those people that has a preference.

I'm pretty binary. I just buy a box, whatever's on sale. I smoke it. If I like it, I buy more of the same. If I don't, I smoke it fast and get rid of it...then I buy a box on sale. See the pattern? It's a lose lose situation, all the way around.

HDM Epi 2 would be a good choice.

where can I get a brother like you? lol

He has smoked a JL S2, Upmann No2, BBF,RASS, VR Unicos and the PSP No2. He liked all but the Partagas was a little bit spicy for him. I know not everybody like it.

Safe option would be upmann Connie #1 I'd say, unless he has preferences. There's nothing to dislike about them if you enjoy cigars I think.

I read much about the Connie 1 but haven't smoked it yet. Connies are on my favorites list for myself for next purchase. I know Rob has good ones. What aroma does they have?

I'll do all for my family. He always cares for me when he visits Germany and catches me a botrle of my favorite Whisky or Rum. HIGHLAND Park 18 Y or Plantation Rum Barbados Extra old Reserve XO 20 Anniversary. Don't take so long till they are gone because al my friends take a glas here and there...

Smoke aroma is milk chocolate to me

Aroma at cold is a rich, subtlety-sweet tobacco

Damn, I need to smoke one now! :D

I took the advise of some members here and messaged Rob (El Presidente) what smokes good for me now by two or three brands that I like, body of cigar I prefer and he recommended 15 different cigars to sample. Ordered three of each (just in case I get an unusual one) to get a good judge of a cigar. That way I can try several and decided which one I like best and your brother may be able to do the same. And really, when I pick out a cigar I typically walk into a smoke shop and ask the same of a knowledgeable tobacconist when I'm looking for something new.

The Sancho Panza Belicosos has been an eye opener for me. Lots of flavor. But to answer the OP's question I would go with a corona gorda or dalias/lonsdale sized cigar. I would be looking at RA Superiores, Partagas 898 or the RyJ Cazzadores.

He said not strong, so I'd avoid the cazzies or 898s. SLR Serie A, Montecristo Especiales or if you've got the coin, Cohiba Corona Especiales are nice.

Hoyo Epi 2, or SLR Regio would be nice choices
